So I think that we agree. My comment was about the benevolent part. The US did it in their interest, if Europe would have turned red then USSR would have been the biggest powerhouse on the planet. Plus, the US needed to have trade partners for their economy. Let’s not forget that big US corporations were dealing with the nazis even after the start of the war. In the US, money talks.
