Actually watched the Championship game tonight. If you love watching traveling, not being able to throw a simple pass to the low post, and missed layups.....you'll absolutely love Women's college basketball.

Randomly saw this again. Saw that clear as day without even recalling what was coming. Sucks when the refs don't have the balls to make the right call.

They should play with 8 ft rims, even smaller balls and a three-point arc at about 16.5". It's so sad watching a grown woman heave a basketball.

It’s infected sports more and more now. They swallow the whistle to help create a dramatic moment.

At least it happened against UCONN, I guess.

Yea, Virginia wouldn't have won the championship if the ref didn't have the balls to call the foul on that three at the end of the F4 game. N/M that they also benefited on a non-called double dribble.

    Or today’s nba.

Honestly; nothing wrong with that shot. Clutch shot and better fundamentals than most today’s nba ball.

Even mentioning lowering the rims is taboo. But, Geno said it best. When asked about lowering the rims....he said he's all for it. He even equated it to volleyball. The female nets are lower than the mens nets, and absolutely nobody cares.

    His words:
"How do help improve that? Lower the rim [from 10 feet]. Do you think the average fan knows that the net is lower in women's volleyball than men's volleyball? It's about seven inches shorter so the women have the chance for the same kind of success at the net [as the men]."

Also, in baseball/softball the women don't pitch from a mound 90 ft away. Centerfield wall isn't 420' away. There is no outrage over these things. Just don't know why some of these women think it's the worst thing in the world to even start up a conversation about lowering the rims. News flash: Nobody is watching your product. You should be open to any and all ideas that would help improve that. They won't though because they know the NBA will always cover their financial losses every year.
