I don’t think the impeachment even matters except if the American people actually take this blatant act seriously. Then it seems to me it only matters in making the red team stand up and be counted as to how important this flaunting of our system is to them. Blue team needs to focus on the simple act first. And then tack on others involved, money possibly withheld, how government money was spent and the rest.
I think it’s pretty clear the red team does not give a damn concerning the president and the people around him making money off the people. This drain the swamp mantra went the way of promises made, promises kept... Hollow meaningless garbage.
It just interests me to see if the American people really even understand or care what our president has done... Admitted he has done. Because I really don’t even know how seriously we have taken the Russian election tampering (and it does not matter whether it won Trump the election or not; I personally don’t think it did) This is serious stuff and it’s not clear we have even done anything to prevent this from happening again and with other countries. I think China would probably like to see Trump gone, does this give them the go ahead to tamper in 2020 if the orange man has not blown himself apart by then?
The repercussions of all this he has pulled could be enormous. Maybe it will require an off the wall blue team president in 2020 to take Trump shenanigans a step further to make people wake the fck up.
These are the most important facts we have:
1. The whistleblower wasn't on the call.
2. The IG didn't read the transcript before acting on the whistleblower complaint.
3. The WH released the transcript—which clearly shows the president did nothing that would be impeachable.

Well, there's going to be a 30 percent that goes the Qhris/TSA route, another 30% that goes the djohn/boutons route, and then the rest will actually be what matters. Frankly, because impeachment is political, polls are likely to drive a lot of the pressure on this.
One way this could get ugly is if the polls eventually show this matters enough to those people to potentially flip not just the presidency but the senate also. I suspect Moscow Mitch's tactic is to drag this out until the election, but he's also not stupid and he's much more bound to the party. Whereas Trump doesn't give a , likely would love to see the world burn if he has to go, and drag other people with him.

Dear Acting Director Maguire: Thank you for your unqualified support of our client’s statutory Whistleblower rights during your testimony at the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (“HPSCI”) hearing last Thursday, and also for your unwavering insistence that our client “did the right thing” and “followed the law every step of the way.”
The purpose of this letter is to formally notify you of serious concerns we have regarding our client’s personal safety. We appreciate your office’s support thus far to activate appropriate resources to ensure their safety.
The events of the past week have heightened our concerns that our client’s iden y will be disclosed publicly a and that, as a result, our client will be put in harm’s way. On September 26, 2019, the President of the United States said the following:
I want to know who’s the person that gave the Whistleblower, who’s the person that gave the Whistleblower the information, because that’s close to a spy. You know what we used to do in the old days when we were smart? Right? With spies and treason, right? We used to handle them a little differently than we do now.
The fact that the President’s statement was directed to “the person that gave the Whistleblower the information” does nothing to assuage our concerns for our client’s safety. Moreover, certain individuals have issued a $50,000 “bounty” for “any information” relating to our client’s iden y.
Unfortunately, we expect this situation to worsen, and to become even more dangerous for our client and any other whistleblowers, as Congress seeks to investigate this matter.
Thank you for your immediate attention to the matters noted above.
