They play KC next week and the Colts the week after. That KC defense is hot garbage, especially against the rush. If Hyde and Johnson can move the ball on the ground it opens the whole playbook for Watson. Colts game should be a good one. Both teams are playing well.
Derp, not sure how I missed that. The Chiefs made Stafford look like Brady so Watson should have a field day. Point stands against the Colts though, if they can put up points there then the offense has figured things out.

i still dont think they're legitimate until the passing game shows signs of life. easy to get by when opposing offenses can't really punish you. last week we faced the colts without TY Hilton, and this week chase daniel was pretty useless... allen robinson made some big contested grabs and miller had the one big catch. otherwise their offense only did anything when they got a short field (from the fumbled exchange or the cohen punt return). our other win was week 1 against the similarly putrid broncos offense.

any time we face a team with legitimate scoring ability, we're going to need Carr to be more than Alex Smith... haven't seen that yet. jacobs is a beast (and our OL should only be better when gabe jackson returns), but the passing game has to be a thing. they should be at full strength at WR after the bye, so we'll see. i still think the record is fools gold, tbh.

but fools gold or not, feels good to be going into the bye 3-2 and having gotten the london game out of the way. we come back to games at green bay, at houston, vs detroit, and vs chargers, so thats 4 teams that can put up points

I think Nick might ultimately be better than Joey. Joey's awesome, but struggles to stay healthy, and sort of disappears at the worst times sometimes, especially against the Patriots

OBJ and Landry are alright too. So is Seals-Jones. They just need an o-line and QB

Watson is Jeckyll and Hyde. Can go off for 50 points or 10 points on any given day against any defense in any stadium.

It's some him, but there have been plenty of other cir stances as well with a terrible offensive line and all the injuries to his playmakers. They sat down before the Falcons game and did some retooling on the offense to get the ball out quicker. I think we are going to see a lot more consistency now that the protection is holding up better, Hyde and Johnson have been added and Fuller and Coutee are healthy. It just needed a few games to get it all together.
