you guys are still triggered by this?
Someone should tell Kerr that if he lived in China and spoke negatively about the Chinese government, they would lock him up for good. Unlike the US where we have liberty and freedom despite these comments by Kerr/Pop denigrating our great country by comparing China’s issues with ours. Americans are really spoiled.

kerr is a ing clown. welfare rings with the bulls and spurs (thanks for mavs game 6 2003 pussy) and welfare gifted team that mark Jackson built and Luke Walton did just as well with. it’s hilarious seeing draymond freak out and scream at him every game I bet he watches him his wife too![]()
Guns are scary, and my feelings should override the second amendment and God given rights promised by the Bill of Rights of the United states![]()

Just reading that fans are bringing sign saying we support Hong Kong and NBA security are removing them ASAP.
Man this is going to be a fun year it will be interesting to see how this develops and how Silver handles it and off course waiting for Pop to explode on a reporter “We just lost by 30 do you think I am thinking about Hong Kong? Ask me a damn basketball question you idiot reporter.
Steve Kerr, face palm. Gun violence is disturbing. But you can't compare it to a government that suppresses free speech and imprisons and tortures dissenters and then forces them into slave labor or harvests their organs. It's not a comparable problem.
Imagine how deluded you'd have be to think the ability to own guns would be seen as a human rights abuse by a country with concentration camps.
What a booty smoocher. He knows that only Xi can extricate him from the disastrous trade war he started. Oh, and this makes him as much of a sycophant as Silver.
No transgender bathrooms in Charlotte.
Pop & Ker- No transgender bathrooms no NBA in Charlotte!
Free speech protesters shot! No extradition of Hong Kong Citizens to Communist China shot!
Pop & Ker- Americans need to stay in their lane Bro.
Two scared little boys…
NBA lost no money by not having the AS game in Charlotte. Morality often aligns with business sense, oddly. Pla ude Pop strikes again!
daryl morey isn't being prosecuted for his comments. that's freedom of speech. if the NBA wants to prioritize its bottom line, it can do that. freedom of speech isn't freedom of consequence
This! Freedom is two-way. You have the freedom to criticize China. Then China has the freedom to not to do business with you. Isn't this natural? Also, did you know the Hongkong protesters uses violence against polices? Set fires on public properties? Morey needs to do more study before commenting on such sensitive issues.
If a Chinese business executive openly supports KKK or ISIS, does Walmart or CNN has the freedom to cut business ties with his company? Same analogy.
Also, this is not about Chinese government, the Chinese fans are more upset. They treated Rockets like their home team. They love USA, especially love black people because of the NBA super stars. Now they feel they're betrayed.
Pretty much. Both little ball-less gots.
If these fans don't understand that in civilized world every man may have his own point of view about everything and that the opinion of author may not coincide with the opinion of editorial staff, then it's on them, not on the NBA. People may not like Pop's rants, decisions by the front office, the coyote or whatever, but they still support the team
permanently triggered Trumpistas
It doesn't correlate logically. Is Charlotte in China? Not, at least yet.
US citizen speaks about US problem to the US auditory - I'm OK with that. But if the US citizen calls out the Chinese about their domestic questions, then it may feel disrespectful and inappropriate. So it's different.
Usually a grown man just don't feel the need to have his finger in every pie. No one has to behave like Trump
Freedom of speech comes with responsibility. If Pop openly supports KKK and gets away from it, then Spurs would have a survival problem. We would have a responsibility to boycott it.

This!
Chinese people asking to respect them, that's right thing to do. But they should respect the US position and the human rights too. They could punish Morey for his words, but they decided to take it out on the NBA.
I understand, the communists think differently. They believe the individual represents and supports the opinion of the whole group. But it's not how it goes in US. And they should respect that too. Both sides should come closer to agreement.
Kerr was nothing but right saying he is not a diplomate and solution is on not him
You could tell Kerr was lying and was full of BS when he spoke but understood why Money and Family first.
You really should go see an ophthalmologist. It seems you have lost all vision in your right eye.
Would it be disrespectful to call out the Nazis for putting Jewish people in concentration camps before WW2? China’s behavior is the moral equivalent. Except they buy our silence or force it by closing their markets. They even control speech in the US. They tell Disney and others that the movies won’t be allowed if they show China in a bad light. They control our freedom of speech. Liberal or conservative doesn’t matter. What they are doing is a human issue and we should shine a light on it. Media attention may be the only thing that causes them to act with less cruelty.
China isn’t the only country with human rights abuses. They should all be called out. But China is a first world country. Someday they may overtake the US. They can’t be allowed to take up that mantle in the world community when they do what they do to political dissidents. Since China is becoming a first world powerhouse, they are more vulnerable to influence from other countries who flood money and goods into their markets. China relies on the rest of the world too. So what we say and do here can make a difference if we are not silenced by the need to have more and more money.
