Who cares what he knows or doesn't know. Throw him to the Wolves and he'll be ready by playoff time. Or we can give 25 minutes a game each to Mills and Forbes.
KGB Gregg is so gawd damn dumb.
Morris scored 26 on Spurs, followed by Bertans scoring 23 on 7-7 FG, 5-5 3FG.

Which is weird, because he's had like 4 minutes to figure it out.
Trey Lyles figured it out pretty quick & this isn't his second year with the team. Play with purpose.
Maybe Walker just sucks.
It's not hard to figure out how to suck out there![]()
DWhite getting 20mins a game is just ing pathetic.
If the old man doesn't want to play his two best guards at the same time (such an amazing decision!), he should at least give White those 6 mins to close out the 1st half instead of trotting Fatty out there to give up easy buckets to Ish ing Smith![]()
He’s done this for years now. Just like when he would bench Danny for the mistakes he made and play Beli instead. Of course the apologist always eat it up to “teaching moment for White.” Yet Mills can make mistake after mistake and still get unwarranted playing time
Deliberately sabotaging the team's ceiling by refusing to play Murray and White together would be his masterpiece tbh
Doubt it. Put him on the T-Wolves and watch him score 20 ppg.
he hasn't even seen a single minute, how do you figure he "looks" washed up? preseason action?

that minutes restriction on murray just sucks ... i had an acl surgery myself and i was 10 years older ... its just not necessary
other than that four losses are coming up ... yippieh
Carroll played for coach Bud on the Hawks, he's very familiar with the system.
Pop said postgame that after 10 games he can increase DJs minutes. I don't mind him being careful with him. Nobody wants him to reinjure that ACL
thats good to hear from pop
Bend over, I'll show you a tough stretch.
Awesome! What NBA team were you on?
He has no problem taking out the trash ever since tho.
we both know the answer ... but i bet I did not have such a good rehab like an nba player can have
How many shot attempts would it take? Come to think of it, what has he done well except miss some spectacular dunks? He's not a particularly good defender, certainly not a lock-down defender. He doesn't shoot 3's very well and he jumps too ridiculously high on his jump shots. He's got an injury history dating back to college. So far, he's just been another good character guy who hasn't done much when given an opportunity.
Did you watch Summer League by any chance or are you just saying he hasn't shown you anything in the sporadic 3-4 minute stints he gets during the regular season?
Recent history has shown us that when a Spurs player is as dominant in Summer League as Lonnie was, that player is ready to contribute (Neal, Simmons, Kyle, Forbes, White, etc). Lonnie is ready, especially when the guy ahead of him in the rotation has averaged 2 PPG on 20% shooting through two games + is the worst defensive SG/SF in the league.
I did watch Summer League and he showed that he could score. However, to contribute on this team, they need him to be able to shoot the 3 with some consistency and defend. Last year he came in against the Golden State Warriors and started chucking up terrible shots. As you mentioned, they have guys with more experience who can come in and do that. At the very least, Marco has some time in this league and his shooting history brings some respect to defenses. When I've Walker play this year (in those few minutes) he has looked lost. He needs to pick something he does well and go with it, not just float out there.
