30 mins per game means DJ and White sharing the court for more than a possession each game, which is great news tbh. Hope White is out of his inexplicable slump by then. 8 more games indeed...
A lot of people may of not heard pops postgame but he said “he hated that he had to take him out.” Strong words. He said after 10 games that he’s they’re gonna raise his minute restriction by like 5-6 minutes. That would put him at about 30 mins a game. 8 more games to go.

Oh, man, this poor bas . He's just digging a deeper hole.
I liked the bit about, "I think it was on SpursTalk or somthin like that.'". If it was here, he knows it.
I also liked when he said, "I ain't never asked my son for one red dime. Not one red dime." Classic.
I'm fine with that tbh, its better to ramp up his minutes as the season rolls on. Spurs are trying to keep him healthy.

Not sure if this was posted anywhere; his per 36 numbers are staggering.
I posted them in one of the threads. You can discount it as non-projectable, but you cannot discount what the per36 numbers for his three seasons show about his leap in productivity. It's just staggering. He's a couple of bounces from averaging 20 points in 23-24 minutes.
the thing is his jumper hasn't even started to fall yet. That should come along during the season. Sky's the limit for DJ
It's only been 2 games, but if you look at ESPN's player stats, it shows Dejounte at 3rd in PER with a staggering 38.12, just behind Trae Young and Karl-Anthony Towns.

Of course he's not going to be able to keep up this level of play, but so far he's been the Spurs' best player. BTW his WP48 is crazy high too at 0.708.

While obviously PER doesn't tell the whole story but if he can post a PER of even half that, that'd make him well worth his contract.![]()
Murray hasn’t proven his mid or long range shot yet but his finishing at the rim looks near elite level so far. Two years ago it was a lame floater short of the rim of a block. Given his improvement in form his outside shots should also show significant improvement.
It's crazy how well he has finished at the rim so far. I remember two years ago it was getting better towards the end of the year but it was still a work in progress. All of a sudden he's making circus shots and getting a ton of and-1's. I don't know if he can keep finishing this well but I like his aggressiveness in driving to the hoop.
Since he is on a minutes restriction you can tell Dejounte is playing balls to the wall every possession on both ends...not scared to use up all his energy since he knows his play will be limited...
Interested to see if he can keep his play up as his minutes increase...
He also just missed an entire season. Basically took away the only thing he’s grown to know for 1 full year. He’s hungry
What did Pop say after the behind the back and he was subbed out?
Not trying to hate but his "improved" jumpshot has yet to make an appearance in the regular season. He can probably still put up a decent amount of points because he's such a terror out in the open court + his halfcourt drives and putbacks...but man he'd be looking even better if his shot was falling like it was in preseason.
Still our MVP and the 4th quarter performance of this team without him further confirmed that, tbh.
shut up got
Make me.
Don't make me you up, puto.
he's been short on almost every shot I can remember he missed weird.
