A lot of ing about DeMar in this thread but he's been good tonight. Only problem I have with tonight is Beli being played at all and the bad start. Otherwise tonight has been great all around.
Murray and Forbes have combined for 19 points. Lillard and McCollum have scored 23, and the latter duo has played seven more combined minutes. Spurs have a legit back court.

Love watching this team so far. Murray looks like he has something to prove and I can’t say enough about Forbes’ mentality to keep shooting and play hard.
Dejounte is just a winner. So much more convincing of his impact than Patty buying coffee for teammates and patting a teammate on the butt.

Murray is forcing it, but it appears the strategy is push the pace bc Blazers are on B2B. Murray defense is great. But his offense is still iffy.
The balance of Pop not playing two strong defensive guards at the same time is that guys like Lillard literally never get a break from having an ace on them.
Backcourt doing a good job of staying in front of McCollum and Lillard this half. Cut the TOs down and this can be blown open.
true, but on a team where mccollum is nearly as capable of torching you... having 2 out there means neither gets good looks. mccollum has missed a couple of easy ones this quarter against forbes. that would have been a great strat against last years thunder/rox tho
