Very puzzled by tonight's rotations
I know he hasn't proved anything but if I'm Lonnie walkers agent I'm doing everything I can to get him out of SA it's ridiculous that he gets no playing freedom
Very puzzled by tonight's rotations
I feel the same way. Normally he annoys me when he loses control emotionally but I wasn't angry at him today when he snapped on Beverly. That was some horse they allowed Beverly to get away with and it clearly ended any chance the Spurs had to win the game.
Valiant effort by White and DeRozan...everybody else pretty much the bed. LaMarcus needs to take a long look in the mirror and I am firmly in the the Belinelli Is Washed club now.
Considering that, the fact that this wasn't a blowout is still encouraging.
On to the next one. It's only October.
He had 7 turnovers(especially a crucial one late in the game when the score was close). He deserves as much blame as anyone else in the starting lineup.
Beli with the fadeaway 3![]()
He was horrible. He has an a decent first half and reverted to his usual trash self. The gulf between his actual abilities and his self perception is probably the widest in the NBA. He's a star in his own mind and in nobody else's
You just described the Spurs in a nuts . LMA gonna shrink in big games and Pop gonna play Mills and Marco. Hard to watch this stuff game in and game out.
A ghost has more ing presence than he did, would've rather had Poeltl on the floor instead.
Of course he was, he always folds up against players who play physical...
Harrell isn't a good defender...he is actually a pretty bad defender...but he does play physical and is not going to fold up if you try to muscle him...
He will play well against the warriors tomorrow since they are playing an on the verge of being injured Draymond and some dude who looks like the pillsburry dough boy though...
It was a foul!! He fouled Derozan and then fell on him.
I wonder if LA is playing like because he's being forced to play center which reportedly he doesn't like
Didn't get to watch the game as NBALP ed up but apparently Kawhi shot it 32 times. Dude was going full KoMe mode out there? And they only won by like 5? And they're supposedly far and away the best team in the league? Playing at home/us on our first roadie of the year? Kawhi on extended rest? Seems like a decent showing from our guys.
Good effort by our guys despite a tough shooting night and a no show by LMA. Need better D, KL got to whatever spot he wanted to and LAC got too many layups.
Tonight was a tough loss but take care of business tomorrow night and Spurs will be 4-1. I'm happy wit that.
There are so many instances now that DeMar gets picked off when he does that spin move. Teams are anticipating that and picking him off.
if my count is right he was like 5/7 with 12 points and 2 turnovers in the 4th no? how is that trash?
the Clippers are the favorite this year. Their best player was fully rested. And yes the Spurs roster is not that good. Superstars and even stars don’t want to play in SA, that’s the reality. Spurs fans have to realize that the team is as good as the players they get through the draft. I like the Spurs but if I was a young good player, I would not be attracted by San Antonio, it is kind of a city.
Agreed. Can't stand Beverly. He gets away with fouling half of the time. He's midget Draymond Green for the Clippers without the passing abilities.
I think he'll get more action tomorrow night with Murray not playing
LaMarcus is extremely lazy for a player that supposedly likes to score. Just barely moves at all out there and if his weak turn-around jumper isn't working he doesn't even try anything else.
Props to DeRozan for seemingly beginning to pick up on the idea that attacking the basketball is a good option.
Can we end the Lyles and Beli rotation minutes already? Beli was a ghost on offense, despite being on the floor for his offense. Lyles looks scared to shoot, like he's afraid he's gonna get pulled. If he's starting so he can be a floor spacing big, then why doesn't he actually take them?
Carroll was always a better fit with the starters but hasn't played yet, for some insane reason.
He was either sick or pouting. He's been playing too long to look that worthless. Maybe he's demanded a trade.
Tbh Spurs came out and competed hard this game. Better than I thought they would. We lost to a better team and if they had Paul George, this likely would have been a blowout. Nothing Wrong with losing to a better team that has a superstar/Top-2 player in the world, especially on the road.
With that said, Aldridge, Rudy Gay, and Bryn all had by far their worst games of the season thus far. If they would’ve played even an average game for them, Spurs likely steal this one. Oh well. Onward and upward. Warriors tomorrow night in San Fran.
