Would you rather had me piggyback off other people's responses like you do? Or perhaps should've responded with a tweet like you also like to do.

    rough transcript =/ verbatim transcript

anywho... the transcript was released several weeks ago so you're just spinning your wheels over semantics. It's probably all you have left at this point, so I don't blame you.
Sorry if this went over your head Lambert.

This isn't really about impeachment, imho, it's all about driving public opinion for 2020 election.

They're on sketchy ground with this quid pro quo bs, given that we have video of Obama and Biden doing the same.

The Congressional Leadership Fund said in a statement that it had targeted 29 vulnerable Democrats with ads that will appear when cons uents search for impeachment-related terms online. Those ads will redirect to a website with a pe ion led: "Tell your member of Congress: Stop Impeachment Now!"

"The Democrats are so blinded by their personal hatred of President Trump that they’re willing to sacrifice all work on the issues voters care about, just to have one last shot at removing him from office to avenge their 2016 loss,” said CLF President Dan Conston. “Now that they’ve cast their votes in favor of marching headfirst into impeachment, vulnerable Democrats have shown voters there is zero difference whatsoever between them and the radical leftists fighting tooth and nail to impeach this president."

Not a word of substantive defense against what is being alleged (and what is essentially already proven).

Which political opponent Joe or Barry solicited a foreign country to investigate? McCain, Romney, both?

I actually have a much bigger concern with this whole process, and it’s the fact that alleged educated people like you are starting to question our system of democracy. If this is indeed a baseless charade, nobody will benefit more than the POTUS here. The mere mention of the word ‘coup’ by no less than elected representatives when this entire process has taken place directly on cons utional grounds (and don’t even get me started on the rebuked doctrine that the executive advanced where the POTUS is literally a king), makes one wonder if respect for the laws or cons ution are simply optional, based on the party colors or the rhetoric of the day.

I’m not even positing that the POTUS is guilty of anything here, nor that Democrats are not trying to advance a political narrative as part of the process (and whether that’s morally correct or not, certainly deserves its own discussion), but the falsehood that Congress lacks the ability to investigate or impeach is a complete affront to our system of government.

I mean, I understand that the credibility of Congress, both parties similarly here, is rock bottom. If on top of that we deny that they have the capability to conduct their Cons utionally allowed job, then we just might as well scrap the Cons ution and start over.

What’s even more brazen here is the fact that, as some people already said, all Trump had to do is shut the up for a while, especially after being put on notice by the Mueller investigation, but instead doubled down on stupid. There’s no Democrat you can blame for that. That’s entirely on him.

    How sweet.

I guess the GOP can immediately proceed with articles of impeachment against Biden, if he becomes potus in 2020.

Only difference is that Biden withheld loan guarantee until AFTER he got his desired outcome.

Many good points made here. I'll wait until Horowitz and Durham investigations are completed to respond.
