    Andrew Napolitano: SCOTUS Could Spoil Trump’s Christmas With ‘Emergency’ Ruling

    The Fox News legal analyst predicted the Supreme Court would make a quick decision on the president’s tax returns.

    President Donald Trump could receive some news from the Supreme Court just before the holidays ― and it might not be a “merry Christmas.”

    Trump plans to appeal a ruling this week that ordered his accounting firm to comply with a grand jury subpoena to give his tax returns to prosecutors in New York. Napolitano said that appeal would go first to Associate Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, in an attempt to stay the decision, then possibly to the full Supreme Court.

    “If the Supreme Court were to hear this,

    I think they would hear it on an emergency basis, meaning before Christmas,” he said.

    “They know how important this is.”

    his national support level currently fixed at about 40 percent,

    new poll highlights the degree to which most of the country already has made a judgment about the president’s performance and their voting preferences next year.

    Among the 39 percent of registered voters who approve of Trump’s job performance,

    Trump is winning at least 95 percent support against each of five possible Democratic opponents.

    But among the 58 percent of voters who disapprove of Trump, he receives no more than 7 percent support.

     the national results represent a shift away from Trump since the summer,

    the biggest difference between the results from July and those in the new poll is that independents have moved in the direction of the Democratic candidates.

    The hotel has reportedly been struggling on several fronts during Trump's presidency, with

    profits reportedly falling 89 percent between 2015 and 2018,

    big story in Kentucky is that Matt Bevin is so unpopular, he lost the governorship in a state Trump won by 30 points three years ago.

    GOP won all other statewide offices in KY. it wouldn't be at all surprising if the KY lege pulls a NC and strips the incoming governor of as much power as possible.
