Okay, Marco, if you want me to be here to give you a loyalty contract, you better get out there and score some points."
This is more a case of the Wizards being absolutely awful than us suddenly taking positive steps.

DJ has a lot of holes in his game. Lot to improve on the summer, I suppose. Can't shoot, can't make good decisions. Too rattled.
Keep shooting bryn!
Dejounte 6 minutes in the first half![]()
Yep. They were over 60% until a couple of minutes ago. Still at 56% for the first half. That covers for a lot of defensive lapses.
Murray not being able to shoot is by far the least of out worries... Giannis can't shoot and they have a great team because of how they built around him
- More Patty/Forbes/Beli
- Less Murray
- Still no Lonnie/Carroll
- Spurs up
Absolute worst case scenario. I hope the wiz can fluke themselves into a scorching hot 2nd half. Otherwise this is gonna be the norm going forward.
Ups and downs to be expected
Good news is that we scored 69. Bad news is that we gave up 63.
Spurs should just say fck it and try to out shoot everybody from here on out
Carroll played but yeah this is close to worst case. The Spurs are going to win tonight to keep this starting lineup going, guaranteed.
The supposed effectiveness of this gimmick starting lineup will become more apparent when they play the Sixers on Friday. I have a feeling they won't be shooting as well that day.
I hate the way this team looks right now. They are not interesting at all to watch. Boring, less than average basketball. Most of the Spurs players are just cashing a check and rarely playing with any sense of purpose - especially on defense.

Winning recipe for now and the future. I’m sure the young guys will take super kindly to being phased out and leashed and admonished while the scoring hot, 100% results/effort vets like Mills/Beli get to run wild.
I guess the young guys can’t get too mad; that’s just what happens unfortunately when you play on a legit contender.
Sounds like ur describing DDR... yet DDR never gets put in the dig house regardless of how many low IG plays and lack of shooting he displays... Our young players will never grow if they aren't put in a position to be successful... Trotting DJ out there with those guys is literally the worst possible situation he could be in because he MUST give them the ball or else they will mentally check out the game
Pop should give Keldon 2 minutes as insurance. If the Spurs lose, Pop can blame it on him and exile him to the Austin doghouse.
You're a sick , Sean.
How long before DJ requests a trade? Tbh
To the wizards
