i live in that area off of I-10. Crazy traffic going west during rush hour. Really like the area though.

LOL. I read "Northwest side" and wondered why they would do that, just because of travel time for the players. It would be at 10 and LaCantera. And combining it with UT HSC sports medicine gives it a different dynamic too.
Kind of hoping that the next spurs arena will be built somewhat close to that area.

This is over a dominant span rarely seen in Sports, let alone at a place like SA. If the teams sucks and its fan's passions wanes, the profits would quickly turn to losses.

At least finally they are doing something with the research component , UTSA, and UT Health Science Center that may increase JOBS and bump up Fat Antonio's lack of Advanced degrees.

Building ATT in the hood instead of up near the northern stretch of 1604 was a classic SA dumbass move. It's really going to hurt the team too, now that we're finally truly ty.
Sure if you want to back track all the way to when they bought the company you can but most if not all business owners will try to capitalize on what they have now. If the Spurs started losing, their operating income would turn in to Operating Losses and it would hit their valuation/market price in the tens of hundreds of millions possibly.
