Yeah, but Bryn finally showed us!
It's almost like it's an important aspect in winning games these days.
Yeah, but Bryn finally showed us!
Can't wait til Friday so Lonnie can go back to the bench for that Italian POS![]()
Still trying to get over the love affair his coach has for him. Tonight he truly stunk up both ends from get go. He got rewarded with more mins in the 4th.
The only midget that should be playing is Patty .
Add Gay, Murray, and Poeltl to that list as well. They prefer the 2 to the 3.
For a brief spell, I started coming around on Forbes being an NBA player but I'm not sure he'd last longer than Simmons in the NBA outside this team, tbh.
Damn we suck, boys. This is the type of game at home, against middling teams that the Spurs always used to find ways to win even last year.![]()
That's this season's theme.
They're the second worst team in the league behind the knicks and they have two supposed all stars on the team. It's just bad, overrated, hiding in Tim Duncan's shadow coaching.
Let's be real...he's a charity case. Him and his kids would be in the soup line if it wasn't for Poop and the Spurs forcing him into the league.
You can't start and play G- League players AKA Bryn Forbes and expect to win games.
His defense was spectacularly bad in that 4th quarter. Whatever mediocre offense he gives you(20 points on midrange shots) can't offset what he takes away on the other end. There's no coincidence that he ranks at the bottom of every On-Off chart for the Spurs. He just doesn't impact games in a positive manner.
When we had the big 3, we could get away with it. Too bad Pop thinks he's still in pre-2010.
If I have to watch the Spurs lose, I would much rather see the young guys. They're more entertaining, and they will get better. Brynn, Patty, Beli aren't going to get better. I'm not sure featuring the young guys would have resulted in any more losses, either.
I am really, really tired of watching the same show every game.
Look, I love the old Popovich and what he's done for this franchise but it's obvious he's the problem.
Lonnie was fun to watch. Saw some White/Murray. Defense has a good stretch when Pop limited it to only one bad defender on the floor at once. But he went back to 2-3 poor defenders at once and it crumbled.
Keep getting exposed and ting on your legacy, Pop. Can’t retire any sooner
When Bryn Forbes is your third option you either have a roster or a coach. Unfortunately for us, it's both.
Teams are letting it fly from the perimeter because there is no resistance. , players are just walking into shots bc they can just shoot over Mills and Forbes. DeMar is a clown as well on defense.
Every team is going after the Spurs via the 3 point
line and rightfully so. Nothing will change until Pop stops putting those guys out there.
I wish. I'm not sure they are bringing anything to the table. If they are afraid to speak, they shouldn't be there and if Pop is refusing to listen to them...... they shouldn't be there.
Well, I enjoyed seeing Lonnie play.
Your roster is severely outgunned when it comes to 3pt shooting?
So what does this genius coach to do? Tries to outgun other teams by giving his "shooters" all you can eat minutes. Instead of relying on the athleticism of your young guys (Lonnie, DWhite, Dejounte) and trying to create havoc on defense and getting out in the open court, this old always has a garbage No3/NoD player out there at all times then tries to slow it down on offense with ing Derozan and Lamarcus.
What an absolute disaster of a coach this year. The Spurs would be a .500 team with any other coach in the league. Any single other coach in the league. I absolutely ing believe that.
The bad sort of took the fun out of the good. Especially since I don't have any reason to think we'll see any of those good things next game.
