Outside of High School Football, and College Football, I'm pretty much done with sports. My time is too valuable to waste it on watching a bunch of over indulgent millionaires play a kids game.

Sorry that the arena league is folding, but it means nothing to me because I would never give them a penny of my money.

Oh, there is a exception to my sports watching, I will watch both the summer and winter Olympics
I've always enjoyed watching track and lately I've also enjoyed rugby

    Notes from coaching update (24/7):

    - "subtstantial changes" are on the way including a new offensive coordinator, Herman has identified his top target and will move quickly after Friday's game against Tech.

    - the potential hire will not be a slam dunk, as he's employed at a school that could make a big commitment to keep him.

    - it is thought that the first two calls will go to LSU's Joe Brady and USC's Graham Harrell.

    - as many as four offensive assistants could be reassigned, or let go altogether, which will allow Bryan Carrington to hit the road recruiting immediately.

    - as far as defensive assistants, Orlando has a year remaining on his deal while Giles, Washington and Naivar are year-to-year contracts.

More notes on the program (Inside Texas):

    - everything they're hearing signals Herman is going to get a chance to invest heavily in a reboot for his staff, and he's been telling the parents of players as much and asking them to "let me fix this."

    - they expect Texas to be very aggressive going after "the best of the best" which includes a big offensive coordinator name, but only time will tell if they can pull it off.

    - offensive analyst Andre Coleman is supposed to hit the road with Bryan Carrington once certain terminations occur, but there's conflicting information on Coleman and if he'll be returning next year.

    - they believe there could be two waves of firings, one this weekend and then another after the bowl where current staff members could be reassigned if they're not let go outright.

    - they're hearing a max of only three assistants are safe, and one of those three may not be safe based on how other things unfold.

    - if Orlando ends up being fired, they think Utah defensive coordinator Morgan Scalley will be fully vetted.

    - CB Jalen Green is probably out.

    - S BJ Foster and S DeMarvion Overshown are doubtful.

Bijan has stated his relationship with Stan Drayton is a major reason for his commitment. I wonder what Drayton status is ?

That's pretty close to where I'm at. I like watching the pros play but I don't revolve my Sundays around them any more and I don't lose any sleep when the Cowboys get beat down by the Buffalo Bills

I'm a All Blacks fan, and I will watch Rugby from time to time, but mostly it's a "Oh Look, Rugby is on on" type of Event.

    not interested whatsoever.
I can't watch soccer, it's just too damn boring. I personally like having my Sunday's free for other things.

If our decision is based off of recruiting then I'm pretty sure Drayton and Giles are safe. Texas would lose a substantial amount of their recruiting class if they lose those two guys.

yeah, I was a fanatic cowboy fan back in the day but Jerry Jones has turned me in to someone who doesnt care what happens to them. I didnt even know they played. I've got better things to do.
I feel the same for the Texas Rangers. I went to the new stadium and it was expensive. There is no way I could afford to take a car load of kids. And, now they are saying then new ballpark is too old. RIDICULOUS
The whole concept of professional whiny multimillionaires is not only tiresome but bad examples for kids. Then you have Billionaires extorting towns for new stadiums and benefits. The whole business deserves to be cut down in size, IMO.

I can finally say we made a halftime adjustment with adjusting the line and moving them to get a better pocket to throw out of.

If we lose Bijan, first off, I'd be surprised, secondly, has he visited them recently? They don't look much better than us.
