They didn't play as a team tonight. No ball movement, not attacking the zone off the dribble, settling for deep jumpers which allowed L'Ville to get in transition. They let that game get away. They're a young team with everyone back next season except Turner, but Gottfried has to get them to play together if they're gonna reach their potential.It's so clear these boys don't watch ball until March. Let it get away from them at the end. We had more talent but UL just made plays down the stretch.

Gottfried always recruits well. Talent will always be there, but he needs to get these guys play consistent throughout the season so they can get much higher seeds instead of settling for a 10th or 11th seed.
Hopefully they grow up next season and put it together. The potential is there.
N.C. State has the talent to play with anyone. But too inconsistent throughout the season. Young team and everyone is back next season, but Gottfried needs to coach them up. He will always recruit well just like he did at Alabama.

Anyone who thinks Kentucky won't win it all is re ed. WV was a solid team and didn't deserve to be on the floor with them. They are the best college team of all time.

Kentucky is not even close to the greatest college team of all time. They would absolutely get run by a dozen or more historically great teams.
They are great, and that is all that matters now, but they have no dominant offensive skill and are pedestrian defensive rebounders.
is 2015 even Calipari's Top 3 team?
On talent? Maybe, but it's raw talent that wears down lesser talent since the size, skill, athleticism are equal for 40 minutes a game.
The National le team had the best players, and the 2010 team the best talent.
I dunno. Maybe the O is so overshadowed by the dominant Defense but I see average guards and small forward
I'd say better than average guards, but nothing like Knight, Wall, or even Kidd-Gilchrist, and wings that are solid, but more like a role player, definitely not even the talent of Young, or Goodwin.
And, yes, their Defense overshadows everything. But they struggle to score on first possessions, needing multiple possessions to get points, so match them against a tall/big, good rebounding frontcourt and maybe the offensive issues are better represented in the score. This is where Arizona, Wisconsin, Gonzaga, and Duke can limit them. All have size, strength, athleticism, depth.
Whisky big guys can handle the rock.
