Earl Boykins has made 3 friggin shots with Tony Parker on the floor. A 13 foot shot, a 17 foot shot, and the layup that Duncan should have blocked. You guys act like he's going Andre miller on Parker or something.

I'm ripping TP for his carelessness with the ball during crucial moments. letting Boykins & Den score on the last shot is a boost for them & will carry over into the 2nd 1/2.
TD should have blocked that shot, but i'm sure his ankle ahd something to do with that & also knowing these corny REF's are calling BS fouls on us didn't want to risk a shooting foul.

No one's pissed about Tony's overall game, just him letting a right handed player go right while overplaying the left hand every time.
And the last 6 seconds of the first half, where Parker pretty much gave Denver a four point swing at about the worst possible time.

So Duncan gets a pass for letting Boykins shoot a layup under him because of the refs? Why doesn't Parker get the same benefit? What was he supposed to do, hold him? That doesn't give him a free pass for shooting FTs as bad as he does. He's a guard, not a center.

besides we killed TD last game when he stunk it up, we're getting on TP b/c he allowed a 4 pt swing in DEN's favor!

He wasn't overplaying it, Boykins was running around him. He's faster. Parker drove him right under the basket, in fine position for a challenged shot.
Watch where Boykins catches the pass, he's already basically full stride and parallel to Parker running toward the basket. There's no way Parker could have suddenly gotten around to his other side.
I have a minute to check in.
The Nuggets are done. Crispy. The only offensive strategy they have is to put Anthony at the line. Boykins has been solved (except when the refs let him double dribble). Defenisively, Denver is also screwed. Duncan is on his game enough that Camby can't handle him. They are going to have abandon the 1 on 1 strategy if they want to slow him down. If they do that, our guards are going to wreak havoc.
I like the Spurs defensive strategy. Let Melo have the ball and then make him take ty shots. He's 4 of 10. If the fouls continue to pile up on Bowen though, they're going to have to get Brown some time on him. Big Dog's defense has been solid. And how about Beno on Boykins? That steal was too cool.
Lastly, I can't believe Denver is continuing to allow Horry to have so many open looks. I guess they still "wasn't expectin' that to happen."
