DMC level mental gymnastics here
no he spoke before the storm, so he can't speak again unless there is another protest. For example, right now they are still technically protesting the Arizona results, because he spoke on that this afternoon he can't speak again. But if they protest Georgia's votes then he can speak again, as it's a separate discussion
Cruz spoke in the joint House-Senate session when he objected to AZ's electoral votes. That was before Trump sent his idiot horde, so I'm wondering if McConnell has asked Cruz (among others) to retract and wriggle out of any more objections
And nothing to the press? No releases about the actual "benevolent intrusion of Congress"?
He just sat back...?
Rand Paul
now... NOW he's speaking so powerfully about how these objections aren't just a protest, but an attempt to overturn an election
I think he said he denounced the violence
Liberals just as stupid as their counterparts
and yet all these GOP senators talking, now taking back their "objections" or whatever, keep making reference to the "mess of an election system we have that needs huge reform"
no. the "mess", the "irregularities", the "problems" have been nothing but pure invention and baseless conspiracy.
What channel is the senate on? MSNBC flipped to the house.
i dont have cable, have just been finding youtube streams
Booker did the best job calling them out for that.
still yammering on about "concerns about election integrity"
what a
these concerns have been ing manufactured by people like you, out of thin air, which have been shot down in every court. state trial courts, state court of appeal, state supreme court... federal court, federal appeals court, SCOTUS.
Hawley is legit re ed. Imagine going down with Trump..
hawley basically just acknowledged he's dropping the other states by bringing up Penn
Romney looking disgusted sitting behind Hawley
he even said he's mentioning Penn now in lieu of later, ie he wont separately object at that time.
to make claims that we truly need election reform to restore integrity relies on the assumption that there were in fact widespread issues, NONE of which were corroborated at any level in any state level or legal challenge
Nice.
Thanks.
