    Here's what's comical -

All the Suns fans (and some Spurs fans) saying Horry should be suspended for losing his cool, but Amare and Boris shouldn't be suspended for losing theirs.

You can't have it both ways, people.

    lol your reasoning is comical.

I think a lot of this goes on the refs for their poor officiating. They let things get way out of control and then reigned in one side. That doesn't excuse what Horry did - but Bell had more than 1 elbow that was not called. Emotions were already running high and the refs fed into it instead of corralling it, imo.
I've been saying this for about 5 pages now. The league and refs contributed to this. They let Phoenix whine for a week now, upgraded Bowen's foul to a flagrant, and then the officiating was decidedly one-sided tonight while Phoenix played their most physical game of the series.

Yeah, it boiled over for Horry tonight, but he was just paying back all the bull that had been going on all night with interest.

Players do that ALL the time-- the bench is so close to the line and their feet are so big... Truth be told I saw other players not mentioned in this thread over the line- for both teams.
That's cool. Luckily Finley, Manu, Duncan, Parker can't be suspended.

I hope Vaughn, Elson, Beno stepped onto the court.

After watching these series and following Utah's game, I'm starting to think the same thing...I've talked to two Spurs fans the other day who think the same thing too, weird, because I discounted the Jazz earlier this season.

I was pissed when the Rockets lost, because I didn't want the possibility of playing the Jazz out there. They sucked a lot towards the end, but they've shown up when it counts.

It'll be a tough matchup for whoever comes out of this PHX/SA series.

I don't know why. The Suns will most likely lose two starters. What's wrong with you people? Or maybe down deep inside you feel like maybe you deserve to lose.
Paybacks a mother er! Spurs fans don't want those 2 es suspended cause they fear them! Spurs fans want them gone cause the Suns mail every little bump foul to the league to see if they can get some of the Spurs suspended! And it seems like it is the SUns who fear the Spurs! Or don't you remember Amare crying on national TV like a cause the Spurs are too physical? Who's afraid of who !!!!!

The problem with the whole bench clearing thing is it should be put into context when determining suspensions. If the Suns players went to the fracas, re, to Horry/Raja, then alright, maybe a suspension for Diaw. If they ran over to Nash, they shouldn't be suspended for that...I have yet to watch the replay so I don't remember where they went. As for that little , Horry, he definitely should be suspended not so much for the foul, but for the b.s. afterwards. It's alright to foul hard but he's such a that he couldn't even go over to Nash after the foul and help him up. Nash went over to Parker when they collided, don't expect the same from a sorry like Horry.

So if the Spurs played stupid tonight, why should AMare and Boris catch a break for reacting stupidly?

Why would Nash be fined for his reaction? He ATTEMPTED to go after Horry, but wasn't successful...why would he be fined for that?
I didn't see the Bell "punch." Was that at the same time all this other stuff was happening, or was it earlier in the game?
Nash's reaction was poor - he shouldn't have done anything ... he's always exhibited great character and judgement in the past, and this got the best of him.

And I'm speaking of Bell's turning Horry and shoving him ... and for his bull elbows earlier in the game.

From now on when anyone claims the Spurs are dirty, they simply have to show this= a blatant, intentional dirty play that was not a body check nor a good, hard foul- but an unnecessary deliberate cheap shot at the smallest guy on the court from a guy who weighs 50 pounds more than he does. The fact that the Spurs had just blown the game makes it even worse. Like it or not- it gives credence to both past and future claims of the dirtiness of the Spurs.

what's comical is equating Horry's actions with Stoudemire's and Diaw's.

if Amare & Boris get suspended for 1 game as they rightfully should, then Horry should be out for the remainder of the series.

Yeah, they should be more like the Mavs and punch people in the balls, slam players in the corner by the bench, etc. Thanks for the insight.

The worst part about all this is the clowns on NBATV trying to justify Amare's 'subs ution' excuse.

Yeah, Horry should stand over Nash like Terry did to Finley after punching him in the balls.

    off, stupid Dallas wench.

Don't think so. The two things aren't related.

Horry body checked Nash harder than he should have. Didn't go for the head, didn't swing at him. And the Spurs needed to foul him too. Horry did the right thing, but did it too hard, that's all.

Compare this to the elbows Bell was throwing.

    Why?

By rules set forth by the league, Horry gets a 1 game suspension for a flagrant 2.

By rules set forth by the league, those two get a 1 game suspension for leaving the bench.

And you wonder why Cuban and 99% of Mavs fans about the league being fixed? It's because they about the league trying to twist rules into a gray area to protect the stars, the exact thing you are now advocating.

    Lame.

Those Are The Rules The Nba Has Been Going By For Years, Its A ty Situation But Hey You Gotta Be Smarter Than That. The Suns Saying That Amare Was Checking In Is A Bunch Of Bull . Its Unfortuanate For The Suns But Those Are The Rules And The Spurs Did Not Write Them
