Tim is a badass. Old school nose to the grindstone scoring rebounding MAN. The rock of the Spurs franchise. Just consistent every night. Works hard and wants it all every year. I'm just proud that tim is the face of the franchise and not some pampered child like Kobe or a chest pounder like Garnett. He makes it so damn easy to be a Spurs fan and makes you all the more proud for the die-hard fans. Next guys in line for me are LeBron and Dwight Howard. Tim, you OWN this league !

I love this thread. But seriously, Tim's amazing. And he really does make it easy to be a Spurs fan. I just don't get why more pro athletes can't be like him. Oh well.

It's Mason Jr.'s moment, but Duncan's work shouldn't be overlooked.

25 points, on 12-25 (a little Christmasy on the numbers)
    17 boards, 3 offensive
    3 assists
    2 steals

1-4 at the line, only 1 TO.

And played a chunk of the 4th with 5 fouls.

This game is won by a team, not by one man. But Duncan is still the horse we ride.

    What a great game.

Duncan outplayed both members of the Suns' "all-world" frontcourt.

The way he sonned them both on defense in the 4th was b-e-a-utiful

And he started the game 1-for-5 I think. Tim is truly amazing. Maybe this will shut up the "old" talk about him for a while.

Duncan's D is golden in those spots. Biggest difference between Tim and Amare throughout the rivalry, Tim is an all world defender, Amare is a scrub on that end of the court..
