More exciting news...DT Javonte Magee and Texas are in talks about setting up an official visit for banquet weekend on December 9th-10th which would add to an already impressive attendees list. Duane Akina is still in contact with Magee's teammate, DB Leo Thomas, and he may visit in January.
Sanders is very likely #20 for 2012. Great way to kick off the Thanksgiving weekend. I'm going to be with family and out watching playoff games, so hope y'all have a wonderful holiday and few days off. The next two months are going to be a lot of fun.

**Some rumors from the Oklahoma State boards that their OL coach, Joe Wickline, has cooled his efforts with OL Donald Hawkins. There's even talk that his official to Stillwater next weekend might not happen. Pretty much goes hand-in-hand with what Mex posted last night from Twitter. Hawkins is at Florida this weekend and is expected to make his final decision in early December.
**DB Adrian Colbert is down to a final two of Baylor and Texas. He's scheduled to officially visit UT for banquet weekend and Waco on January 14th.
DGB's next visit will be an official to OU on December 16th. Also a reminder that OL Andrus Peat will be in Lincoln this weekend on an official to Nebraska.

I read a not encouraging report on DGB from JC Shurburtt today. The guy is a SEC honk, so I'll take with a grain of salt. That being said, distance was mentioned as a prominent factor. The staff has been "quietly confident" before and it's usually worked out in Texas' favor. See Hicks, Jordan.
Armstead is sounding iffy to make the Banquet. There could be an ACT scheduling conflict. It sounds like he'll still visit, but he the official visit date might have to be moved.
I finally got around to watching Javonte Magee's senior film, my goodness the kid is a beast. I think he can definitely play DE at Texas. Could end up being a 5 star in the final rankings.

Sanders' recruitment ended on Wednesday evening, imo. It's just a matter of the announcement. He's #20 if Moore doesn't announce first.
Texas not offering WR Marcus Johnson right away knowing he could've been had is a good indication the UT staff feels comfortable about where they stand with DGB. I like Texas' chances more than most and believe they'll get serious consideration from the Beckhams. Hard to eliminate a school like UT simply because of distance.
I keep waiting on Armstead to make some sort of statement that he wants to stay on the West Coast where his family can see him play, but the UT staff will make it hard for him to not visit Austin. They still offer him the best combo of football and basketball.
Magee's senior film has been talked about a lot this week. I know it sounds petty of me because Edwards may not even visit UT in the end, but I do covet Magee more. Texas' defensive line play, Austin being the closest campus to his mother and the relationship he's developed with Akina should go a long way. It's just hard to get a read on the kid. I worry about Baylor more than A&M.

RB Johnathan Gray has 12 carries, 258 yards and 3 TDs before halftime tonight. He was on the bench at the end of the 2nd quarter. Just having him on the field next year will make a below average QB look serviceable.
Aledo is probably the best team in 4A Division II, and it's not really close. What makes your head spin is that Lake Travis blew their doors off. In 4A it's Lake Travis, Aledo and everybody else.
Haha some local bias Floss? Kidding of course. I really like Magee's game. Texas can't go wrong with Torshiro, Armstead or Magee. All three would work too, but that ain't happening.
That'll work for Sanders. I'm thinking maybe he wants to talk it over with his coach next week before pulling the trigger.

The Alamo would work for me. Probably need to beat Baylor to make that happen. I think the Cotton Bowl is out, they'll take the loser of the Bedlam game. It'll be interesting to see if the Big 12 gets a BCS at large bid.
I wish we could play Nebraska in a bowl, I cant stand Pellini.
Would be nice to get that insight bowl VS Nebraska, winner gets Peat.
