Trump raised $46 million in the last quarter without any other Republican candidates to compete with.

Bernie raised $25 million in one month (so a pro forma $75 million quarter) with little to no DNC help and also other candidates competing for Democrat money.

If and when Pocahontas gets out of the race his contribution totals will only explode more. I’ve contributed just over $500 and once Warren is out of the race I’ll give the max to Bernie.
    You're a good soul, Will.

The Democratic establishment is doing a really bad job of stopping Bernie Sanders

Complaining doesn't accomplish anything; they need to unite on an alternative.

mainstream Democrats openly wring their hands about the prospect of a
    Bernie Sanders nomination.

Though Sanders supporters are borderline paranoid about anti-Sanders sentiment,

there’s virtually no actual anti-Sanders organizing.

anti-Sanders zeal, though real, is also quite limited.

Definitively stopping Sanders would require a clear choice, yet party leaders have clearly decided they can’t be bothered.

This primary definitely has the feel for Sanders that the 2016 primary had for Trump. If there was one unified alternative to Sanders he’d probably be toast, but he’s got a fiercely loyal backing while no other candidate does.

A Bernie presidency wouldn't be so terrible. The WH would be like his retirement home and none of his wacky policies would get passed into law. Business as usual, tbh.

Buttigieg and Bernie/Warren are not that far apart in policies,

    EXCEPT for the financial stuff

Buttigieg's wikipedia page has nothing to say about financial stuff like financial inequality, raising minimum wage, "The Crisis of Affordability", etc

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pete_B...y_and_commerce

... iow. his policies financially protect the oligarchy, left and right, which is why a billionaire and his squad of DNC operatives sabotaged IA caucuses, to undercut Bernie.

In America, the ONLY value is money, so FOLLOW IT.

The Dem BigDollar establishment would rather lose to Trash (their Dem jobs, wealth untouched and increased) than win with (financial) progressives like Bernie/Liz

Typical bull , pushing the problem down the road. The bottleneck now will be that people don't show up for their hearing. Why should they? They have nothing invested.

Bloomberg is their last ditch effort to torpedo him but nothing is likable about him and no one is buying into his late game entrance, ad spamming gimmick.

Their best bet was finding a younger charismatic candidate with no real record to go after but the best they could come up with on that front was a gay guy from South Bend Indana

    Except their liberty.

ending cash bail =/= ending bail. The law could be written such that anybody who misses a hearing without good cause is no longer subject to bail

They have a warrant for their arrest and have to be entered into the system, sought and detained again. All this on taxpayer dime.

if they commit the further offense, then yes.

otherwise you're saving taxpayer dime by not having to feed/shelter tens of thousands of people who are sitting in jails right now before they've been tried

THAT'S DIFFERENT IT ONLY COSTS TAXPAYERS 150,000,000,000 DIMES A YEAR TO INCARCERATE PEOPLE WHO CAN'T MAKE BAIL CUCK

I agree with Sanders on this issue.

The potential & execution to dogpile (the accused) monetarily has always been the elephant in the room. Illuminating that room as we've seen thru these police videos (on body cameras) & the mixing of police & court is vulgar. Portending not to look is dangerous.

The real reason why I think it should be Bernie or bust for the Dem's is his followers are Bernie or nothing, or Trump. Yeah a few of them may vote for whoever the Dem candidate is, but the majority will say Bernie got robbed and either stay home or vote for Trump.
