I agree AHF.
We need to put Nash through the pick and roll every time down on defense. EVERY TIME.
Tony, that was horrible pass.
Damn, 2 chance to take the lead and we get nothing.
So, since I'm stuck here down in Rockport and my rented Apt only has basic cable (no ESPN) and ing WOAI's signal sucks ass at this hour and there's no carrier of the Spurs radio network out of Corpus, are the Spurs playing sloppy, are the Suns playing that well, or is the dreaded Stern conspiracy for parity rearing its ugly head again?
did ya'll see Nazr on tony's missed 3?
He's ing standing watching the shot!
This is so frustrating. We beat Phoenix in game 1 by wearing down Nash and Amare by making them play defense. Why the free pass tonight? I think Nash might be the only guy in the league worse than Shaq at guarding the pick and roll.
Is this one of those games where we can't get over the hump?
Come on Spurs! No stupid turnovers! Keep up the good D, get something done on the offensive end, and it will be all good!
The Spurs just aren't playing crisp. Making too many mistakes and turning the ball over. Still though, this is right there for the taking. Nash is exhausted and it is becoming obvious that he is slowing down a little. We can do this!
3 spurs with 20+ pts, we need BB or RB!
if we had malik rose, he'd have 25 boards by now[/boutons]
As much as you about boxing out, I'd think you could have recognized on that play that Amare was indeed blocking Nazr out.
translation please
Spurs aren't scoring very well, so it better be shutdown defense to keep it close.
If the Spurs play like they should. It will come down too who has the ball last. That is the one thing you should look for when playing on an oppent's gym.
Interesting post, AHP.... now go to your happy place.
to be honest with you guys prior to the game i woulda been surprise had SA won gm 2 cuz phx knows how important this game is in terms of their season hinges on it. but the fact that this game is so winnable especially with td in foul trouble its gonna be REAL frustrating to drop this game and not put the suns really on their heels in a 0-2 hole. oh well, still plenty of time left! hopefully we can attack inside and play DEFENSE we should be good!
Spurs aren't unlucky tongiht, they just aren't hustling their butts into killer mode.
Tony looks tired, which leads to mistakes
Nash is out. Here is our chance.
Geezus, quit feeding it to Tim if he's going to shoot those weak ass fadeaways.
come on tim, step up to the ing amare challenge.
Again...It comes down to the sub pattern..... Did you ever see Michael and Scottie on the bench, with the game in question? Did you ever see Bird and Mchale on the bench? Magic and Kareem?
