These things just keep getting posted earlier and earlier, I think the next one will be posted right after tonight game....
Can the Spurs step on the Suns' throat? With a win tonight, they'll put the Suns in a huge hole.
Do you think the Spurs will go up 2-0 or will PHX come back and tie the series?
Discuss.

Umm.. why do you care when it gets posted?

The Spurs will pull this one out not by much 4 or 5 points. either Spurs 100 Suns 95 or. Spurs 95 Suns 90. If we get nash on the pick and roll Parker should come out on top. I feel Parker and Bowen should have a big game tonight, hopefully besides Duncan and Manu. Nazi will get his rebounds and some points as well, The bench will also put up theirs Horry and crew. Does anyone know how much the bench scored that night on the win.
The bench scored 33 points on that day vs phonix with 15 very very sad
Spurs win in OT...woohoo!!! 2-0 baby!![]()
horry and manu proving their worth once again!!!
i never do this stuff, so we'll see if i need to stay the out of these for the rest of the playoffs or not....![]()
Thank You Sir, and there it is the key to victory, and also is the transition D, which both coaches are talking about all the time, which will be interesting to see tonight. Keep your eye out for that and last but not least the points from the bench which in this case is a difference of 18 points from the bench! Spurs will win tonight. 2-0 Spurs.

Spurs 105
Suns 120
I'm glad this thread is started. I get antsy waiting for the games to start... this gives me a healthy outlet!
I'm sticking with my original prediction of a Spurs sweep. I won't be surprised if it's a squeaker, but we're going up 2-0 tonight.
BARRYYYYYYYYYYYYYY FOR THREE!!!!!!!!!!!![]()

I'm just worming up!![]()
Hopefully they fight human nature and don't let down. I know I have less anxiety than game one, or Seattle game 6. I doubt that Nash will get as many 14 foot uncontested shots tonight, at least I hope so. Marion will be out to prove something so that may take away from their natural flow. If the Spurs can hit open shots, because there will be plenty to take, they will win this game going away.
I don't![]()
If Spurs don't win this game it will be only by Spurs fault. Suns have nothing with this, it's just in ours guys heads. If plenty of open shots won't fall or if Spurs will play sloppy then MAYBE Suns have more than 50% chance to win.
The superior Spurs win or,
the Spurs beat themselves.
The inferior Suns' presence is only pro forma.
Hope so, I think Phoenix can win at least once in SA.
The Spurs have been lucky so far getting opponents that were missing key players. The Spurs have to take advantage while JJ is out and win tonight.
Pop needs to remind the players that they need to dance with the one that brought them to this position, and that is to play defense first, and run and gun only if the opportunity presents itself.
Get back on D, even after made baskets, do not get lazy, take care of the ball, and double Nash whenever you can.
Will Barry get open looks?
I say yes.
The Suns can not change their modus opporandi over night.
They want to outscore the Spurs more than they want to make stops.
All 4 teams still alive have played opponents w/key players missing. Except for Heat, but they played the Nets/Wizards![]()
So I don't think the Spurs have been particularly lucky.
Detroit played a healthy Indy team
Phoenix played a healthy Dallas team
What do you mean?
San Antonio shall win. Period.
The Suns have responded well to pressure so far in the playoffs (tied 1-1 and 2-2 in the Mavs series), but I'd have to think that there is a little more of it tonight. If the Spurs can bring their A defense tonight, the Suns will suc b to the pressure.
Detroit played Indiana w/out Artest
Phoenix played Dallas w/out Van Horn
Artest????? He was out all year.
Van Horn?![]()
you are comparing Van Horn with Radmanovic and Lewis and Joe Johnson????
![]()
The point is that they were out for the playoffs. Van Horn was "supposed" to be the most important guy off the bench along w/Stackhouse for Dallas.
Anyway, GO SPURS GO!!!!
I've prepared myself emotionally for a blowout loss.
