No i know a lot of about faith i use to be a avid church attendee, and even a founding member of the Jay Christian Fellowship at my high school. I then just started to use my brain and put logic into religion and it all seems a bit lagging by far. Too much bs if you ask me, I mean its not something you can just buy into, and i learned that, its something you have to just believe in, but how do you believe in something that is totally ilogical? something that goes against every bit of reason? Its not worth believing
The problem here is not one between religion and science. It is when people use their ignorance or science's ignorance in order to prove that there is a god. That is an established pattern for how to develop myths.
Religion can play a part in life and it may be a very important one to many. Science can in no way rule out the existance of a God and the general goal of the scientific community is not to rule out God!
Science seeks to understand the way the world works and one day may end up proving the very existance of God!
Todays youth want "god" to come out on TV. They want to know why a bookI hear you. Today's youth is more prone to "need to see it" before they can believe it. It is like proving "love". We can't see it but we know it is there.
Too hard to try to put into words I guess but for me the fact that God exists can be seen everywhere from the smiles on my daughter's faces to the feeling I get inside when I look at them sleeping.
I mean I have no idea how radio waves travel across the air and come out of box sitting in my bedroom but I know it works.
I believe in the power of the Holy Spirit so thus believe in the Bible.
But I understand how you can feel like you do.

From what I've read a clone will look like you but would not "think or act" like you because of the fact that while biologically it would be the same..emotionally it is impossible. At least that is how I see it.

I believe there is something "out there", I just don't have a clue what it is. Supreme being seems a little too focused for me to use. I definitely do not believe any religion on earth has a clue as to what "it" is.

As I said before God has give knowledge to man to a certain point. Yes I do go to a doctor when I get sick because God has given certain individuals knowledge about the human body. When my AC goes out, I call the AC guy because he has more knowledge on ACs than what I do. Your point? What about the thousands of people who have been diagnosed with life threatening diseases such as cancer and then some time down the line its gone without any type of medicine? How does that happen? They got lucky? Doubt it. Its obvious I struck a nerve when it came to the weather Manny. Why? Because the truth hurts. The weather folks have made huge steps in TRYING to predict the weather, but are never 100% sure as to what is going to happen. Why do you all of sudden use curse words to argue your belief? I guess its because you don't have an explanation as to why you and lots of others can't predict as to what is going to happen with our weather. You and I weren't meant to know the answer to everything. Face it. I'm not trying to make you upset. I am just giving you reasons as to why I believe that we were created by God and that God exists. You don't have to believe me. You may think my arguements aren't good enough for you doubt evolution. That's fine with me. God gave you the free will to believe in whatever you desire to. I am just simply stating I don't believe in evolution because the so called information given to us doesn't prove 100% that humans evolved. I appreciate science and things I have learned from science, but I don't believe everything science says is true. Do you believe everything a used car salesman tells you when you pull into his lot? Of course not. Man has been wrong on many issues and his changed his answers the more time passes. So why should I believe man when it comes to evolution?

You may not think there is physical proof in love, but quite to the contrary there is.

Why do you think a supreme being would want to make himself known?
If the Supreme bring was superior in everything, his virtue would lead him show men kindness.
And even if the Supreme being was only powerful and cruel, I think his lust for control alone would be reason enough to reveal himself.
I just don't see anyone with the power to control everything, choosing to be forever hands off.

If you want to pick and choose what you belive is true regardless of evidence, there is no point in me presenting said evidence, is there? You have and continue to demonstrate the will to disgard what you don't want to believe regardless of any validity it may or may not have.

You just proved what I have been saying. We don't have the answers to everything because we weren't created to have all the answers. Christians have faith in Jesus Christ. Faith is being sure of what you hope for the evidence of things not yet seen.
well all else being equal we would act and think the same, as close as possible
if cbf no. 1 got in a car wreck at 10 AM and cbf no. 2 got laid at 10 AM, then they'd probalby give different responses to someone asking for spare change
but if they experience similar emotional events in the day/ if most other things were equal, we'd respond and act very very similar to pretty much everything
I can't agree with this. Humans may not be worthy or relevant enough for the supreme being to reveal himself to us at this point. That's assuming the supreme being would actually care. Humans may not be developed enough yet. However, there are civilizations in other parts of the universe that possibly have a better grasp than we do.
