You actually disregarded a lot of what I said in my original post to hype up Lowry. Like I said before Kawhi was fortunate to play with guys who were top 3-5 at their position for most of his career. I don't believe Lowry even comes close to the caliber of player that Parker,LMA,Duncan were when they were making All-NBA teams while playing besides Kawhi. This will be first time he's playing with someone who is not of that caliber. Sure he will still be a star but I'm interested to see how far he can go with the Raptors which includes the playoffs. Hence why you conveniently left out how Lowry is a ty playoff performer to sell your argument. My bold prediction is the Raptors will get bounced in the second round. It's going to be Kawhi and a bunch of nobodies. I don't think Kawhi has it in him to go into god mode and carry a team on his shoulders like Lebron,Duncan has done in the past.

TS% is a garbage stat and is very flawed. I have argued and debated it in other threads so I'm not going to beat a death horse. Your not going to win me over with a stat that I find flawed. Lowry is fat out of shape chucker that relies heavily on jacking up a bunch of 3's. It's why he usually chokes in the playoff since teams can easily game plan against him. I trust the "old archaic" FG percentage over TS and with that stat Lowry is ty in my eyes. I'm not impressed by him and I have watched him the last several years. Lowry is definitely going to be a guy who gets exposed after next season when he's on an island not playing with Demar or Kawhi. I predict he will fall off of a cliff and never make it to an all-star game after the 2019 season.
No, I didn't. By the metrics, Lowry is a more impactful regular season player than Parker was in his prime or Aldridge is in his. I'm not arguing whether he's better than them or not, but to say he's not All-NBA caliber, is flat out ridiculous.

Not impossible that the Raptors lose in the 2nd round, but they have a legit chance to get to the Finals. The Celtics have more higher end talent, but the Raptors have a superstar and their fit is much cleaner. You're underrating their role players, who are about as good as it gets. Their issues in recent seasons have been the lack of a superstar and 3 and D wings and the Spurs just gave them both.

Lowry got in significantly better shape a few off seasons ago and has always had a relatively low usage rate for a player of his caliber. Of course he's likely to fall off a cliff soon. He's a 32 year old, small guard, that played a reckless style and was overweight for much of his career.

He is a system player and that will become very obvious really soon.
    System was holding him back.
