Right now it's about 33 degrees, and it's supposed to get up to about 44 today. I'm right on the coast, so there isn't typically too much of a temperature change throughout the day.
Is it more like sleet than snow? One thing about Austin that I hate is that when we get rain storms it hails, then at least once a year (usually in feb it ices over). When it ices the people over here don't know when to drive on the ice and its crazy around here.
I thought it would be more like sleet when I saw it yesterday, but it's actual snow. And what's out there this morning seems to be sticking pretty well.
And I'm definitely not driving today. I've never had to drive in snow, and I'm guessing that most of the people around here aren't accustomed to it either.

No, we live in an apartment/townhome complex so they handle all the snow removal.

Nope...it would have to come down in feet before that might happen. The folks up here know how to take care of the roads and such when it snows.
what about busting your ass on the sidewalk. I bet that happens a lot. When it iced over last year in new braunfels everyone was falling. It was a funny time

I jumped out of my car once and landed on a ice patch, but my fall wasnt too bad cause I hung on to my doorhandle. It was some quick goat thinking.
I bet some chick saw you do that and said " Damn that boy can dance!"
We were once stranded inside our house for 4 days until snowplows came. And it took 3 times/day calls to our city council dude to make it happen that fast!!
The parking lot was empty but my friend was laughing hard because I finally let go of the handle and fell. First thing I did was look around but no one was there.

I once slipped on some ice outside the PostOffice, but the worst part was that I didn't fall down right away; I just flailed around chopping the ice for what seemed like at least 10 minutes! I was much too embarrassed to go into the PO after that.
There is one thing left to do. We must eat Eric Roberts.
