Looks like Andrus Peat is about to make another visit to FSU. Still shocked if he ends up anywhere but NU, but certainly looks like we're out of it barring a big shocker of getting another visit.
OL/DL Arik Armstead is still working with the UT staff to set up an official visit for banquet weekend. However, his trip will depend on his team's playoff schedule. They have a game this weekend and the result will supposedly determine whether or not Armstead makes it to Austin. If his team loses, he should be in attendance.
Yet another variable on Armstead making it down for the Banquet. Is it the ACT or the playoffs? Choose an excuse and go with it Armsteads.
I think Texas should focus on Javonte Magee. By close of business tomorrow, TAMU could be without a head coach.
Magee has some academic problems doesn't he? Is that all clear now?
Magee has allegedly cleaned up his transcript. He does go to SA Sam Houston so you never know. Wherever Magee decides to go, I suggest that school keep a close eye on his final semester.

**We can add five-star DE Mario Edwards of Denton Ryan to the list of visitors for the team banquet next weekend. UT isn't thought to be much of a player in this recruitment, but banquet weekend has changed a few minds in the past. A couple Florida State coaches were at Edwards' high school yesterday and followed up with an in-home visit later on in the evening.
**OL Donald Hawkins is saying he will not take any visits this weekend and doesn't have any additional visits planned. Things are looking very good for Texas at the moment and Stacy Searels is expected to be in Mississippi early next week for a visit.

Floss any timetable on Hawkins? With his semester ending and his football season over, you would think recruiting is his primary focus. I'm thinking it goes down after finals. Hawkins will have a ton of interview requests should he commit to Texas.
Not sure, bud. It's confusing because there are various reports about when he'll be available to enroll. His commitment announcement will probably be in the next week or two if he's a spring enrollee as opposed to arriving on campus in June. Hopefully it goes down around the time Searels visits him at his school and they can iron out the final details.

**DT Javonte Magee's teammate, OL Ralphael Green, is taking an official visit to Mizzou the same weekend as UT's team banquet. He's been quoted as saying Magee will come with him on that trip so things are still up in the air as to when he'll get to Austin.

Yeah I heard on another site that Applewhite was still pursuing him and that he was looking at other schools. Don't really know what the truth is to all this. He would be perfect in the Monroe/Goodwin roles and as a PR/KR. He could also work well in the Wildcat.
There's been a lot of talk about him and ATH Bralon Addison going around this week. I'm not buying most of it but the rumors aren't dying down with the talk of Sherman being fired. The talk is both Williams and Addison are looking at visiting Oklahoma State (Addison was originally commited to OSU) and Williams may also go see Auburn.

It's that time of year again, Aggie Decommitment Season.
I understand why he committed to A&M. Their class is filling up and he needed to cement his place just in case UT didn't offer. Now that's he's been invited to the team banquet, it's pretty much a given he'll get one. , maybe MJ or Colbert will beat Sanders to that 20th commitment.
It's been widely known that MJ was waiting for a Texas offer. I heard that he has already committed to UT.
A family member of his (some think it's MJ himself) has been trolling OrangeBloods for the better part of a year saying how much the kid loves UT and that he wants an offer badly. I liken him to Sanders in the sense that the staff already knows they have him wrapped up. He's not visiting campus for another "maybe we'll offer you." It's just a matter of the announcement.
I like Johnson over Sanders. Just my opinion. Youll get them both so doesn't matter lol
