LOL Tacker, you stupid , still going after your KG's stats > Duncan's numbers garbage blew up in your face.![]()
Are you ing kidding me? What about 00-02, If I recall correctly Duncan didnt win any les during that span, did that mean he didnt have any leadership? Ya so what Lakers team was stacked, dont you remember the Finals? Malone was injured.....
LOL Tacker, you stupid , still going after your KG's stats > Duncan's numbers garbage blew up in your face.![]()
Tacker...you can't win the le every damn year...we're talking about MVP here...you keep changing the subjects. You said...and I quote..."All you have to do to win MVP is be the best player on the best team and you'll win MVP." That's crap. And it's like you said..the Lakers were stacked 2000-2002..no one was going to beat them in that time...but SA was right there every time...you're an idiot...no one in this room believes otherwise...check the poll...you're losing...lol
On twitter today Shaq weighed in on the best power forward debate.
I'm a go wit a two way tie wit barkley and malone
Not saying I agree just throwing it out there.
Discuss??? OK, Up yours, A'hole!
That is maybe the dumbest post/thread ever made on SpursTalk.com!!! Were you born this way???? There is a photo of you in Webster's under....yep, you guessed it!
This thread FAILS!!!
How do you live with yourself? Honestly.
werent you like 5 ing years old back then?????? bet you were still pooping in your pants and drinking from a sippy cup watching barney. have you even seen tim play?
Danny White has better stats than Roger Staubach too, but nobody in their right mind thinks White was a better QB than Staubach.
Tim Duncan is a team player, a leader, a champion, he has the intangibles that cannot be measured by mere statistics....and he's been remarkably consistent for over a decade. Four championships with a different supporting cast each year says a lot about the man.
We are so lucky to see this player on our own team perform at such an incredible level for so long.
Duncan is the greatest !!!

You forgot to mention turnovers and that Malone played in a high octane offense. Malone = prone to turnovers
How about defense? Duncan is a great one on one defender as well as being one of the best help defenders of all time.
Malone was not a great defensive player.
So that makes Duncan better, because all of his career he had to share with greats like David Robinson, Sean Elliott, Tony Parker, and Manu Ginobili. If Duncan didn't have to share with those guys his stats would be through the roof.
Duncan can't bring his team to playoff contention without Ginobili.............Duncan can't get passed the first round without Ginobili .............Interesting.
I rest my case.
Took KG how many years to get to the finals?
Tim did it in his second year so you're a fail.
Tim has brought more rings to his teammates than Michael Jordan.
Why discuss? Like MJ didn't....every team that wins it all doesn't have just ONE player that does everything....ask King Nothing.![]()
Since when? Please enlighten me.
MJ couldn't do it w/o Pippen, Pippen couldn't do it w/o MJ...I rest MY case. You can't be serious, dude. I expect that kind of talk from Mavs fan, but not a Bulls fan.
i think duncan is overrated, always have. he has so much help, yet he never gets the same "couldnt do it without X player" argument like kobe.
but i dont bother saying anything because spurs fans are re ed about tim duncan like rockets fans are about yao ming... even though yao ming sucks balls. note: im not saying yao is as good as duncan, im just comparing how blinded fans are about their respective franchise players.
Ummm... what ?![]()
ORLY?
tim averages more points, rebounds, blocks, shoots a higher percentage and just about everything else imaginable for his career. all done in less minutes than garnett.
Don't bother
Tacker's knowledge is limited to: " OMG, Jordan ownz, goat, lulz, spurs old and boring cheaturz"
You didn't watch the NBA before 2005, did you?
Oh, and also, Duncan is the only player to win more than one championship with a totally different cast on the same team other than Bill Russell, so that logic doesn't apply.
Right now, Kobe can't win without Fisher.
