jackhammer was the best, just like the german suplex, hold them in the air and slam them down hard

i never got into wcw, it was like all meat heads with no moves, besides the cruiserweight division which did alot of that graple holds and reverses was fun to watch, but wwe had the best performers from a spectators POV...

raw was good cause u get action best wrestlers untill smackdown came along and had to split the roster....

Kurt was awesome. Back when he still had hair I saw an interview with him on Conan. They were talking about how thick his neck is and he recounted a story from his college days. He was chatting up some chick at a party and she says, "You know what you remind me of?" He's expecting her to make some sort of complimentary comparison and she goes, "A thumb!" That's all I could ever think of after he shaved his head.

I stilll remember the promo he cut on his way to the ring to face the Big Show in DC. "It's appropriate that I'm wrestling tonight in our nation's capital because I have so much in common with many of the great men who have worked here. Like George Washington I cannot tell lie: the Big Show is a big disappointment. Like Abe Lincoln I am honest to a fault: I am going to destroy the Big Show. And like Marion Berry...actually I am NOTHING like Marion Berry and you people should be ashamed of yourselves for ever electing him! It's true! It's true!"

I was always the smallest of my brothers so I was usually ended up on the receiving of these things, except for all the high spots. Moonsault, Senton, Frog Splash- you name it I could do it of a diving board and land it perfectly on whoever was floating around.

I don't know about you guys but one of my favorite matches of all time was the TLC match. Whether it was Summerslam 2000 or WM, it was the highlight of the night. Jeff Hardy is one of the craziest people to do some crazy stunts. These wrestlers don't get paid enough to risk their body like that. One serious bump when Jeff Hardy's on the ladder and he could be injured for life. And these matches actually helped Edge's career to become the next superstar in the league.

IIRC, I saw the Hardy Bros when they were just starting out at a local event... they were all Christian (the religion, not the wrestler) themed... wore knock-off Rocker pants with things like "Faith" and "Charity" written on the side. Good thing they changed their image.

I don't like how the heel he was right now. I thought the best time when he was heel when he was doing the 5 second pose with Christian. I'm glad they are still with the company though.

Jeff Hardy has hit shot as well, but we all know that Jeff Hardy was more talented than Matt. But they complemented so well and had so much chemistry.

The Dudley boyz were amazing to watch. Loved the stutter Bubba Ray Dudley did in his promos. One moment that got me mad at the Dudley boys is when they 3D Trish Stratus on a table. This was terrific and hope one day they would return back to the WWE.

THE TAGTEAMS TODAY IS TOTAL . It is getting annoying how they ruin the tagteam concept and have like Cena and/or someone else beat like the tag team champions. When they do like that, they will not be taken seriously in the future. 2003 was probably the last time anyone actually took the tag team division seriously.

When I look back on it the times I was really into wrestling were the times that coincided with the strength of their tag team division. As a little kid I grew up watching the Hart Foundation, the Bulldogs, the Rockers, Demolition, LOD. Oddly enough I lost interest in wrestling after Bret Hart dropped the le to Shawn Michaels. For all the talk about how a San Antonio native had won the gold I really didn't give a . Huge Hitman fan, never liked Michaels. Got back into around the time the Rock went face after losing to Austin at Wrestlemania, but the tag teams from that time usually ended up stealing the show. E & C, the Hardys, Dudleys, the APA, the Hollys, the Rock and Sock connection, the briefly reunited Outlaws. ing hated those Two Cool breakdancing wigger es though. And even though they sucked balls I did get to meet T & A (just the wrestlers) in a Circuit City of all places in 2000. They were buying some CD's and I just walked over and got to shake their hands. My brush with greatness, lol. I will say this though, that lingerie table vid that Trish Stratus show while they were feuding with the Dudleys? Well let's just say that's the kind of thing that sticks with a high school boy without an internet connection.

Damn, it's crazy how much of this I remember.

I also remember when the WWF had that roundtbale discussion group on Monday nights with Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby Heenan. That was some funny . Monsoon was just perfect for that. He'd make you believe that it was like world events the way he'd play the straight man to Heenan's outrageousness. There were like four guys each week. I think Okerland was like the Emcee who kept it orderly.

And Heenan had that damn yellow banana telephone on his side of the table where he'd either get important calls or make 'em. It was all BS of course, but, he sold those calls like they real, with Gorilla rolling his eyes on the side.

the Shawn Michaels/Bret Hart Iron Man match in WrestleMania was one of the best fights ever.

i still remember that cage match between Bret Hart and Diesel, when Undertaker came from the ground to grab Diesel. Pretty epic.

this is what makes The Wrestler such a sad movie.

Bret Hart was the man. in montreal screwjob.
