It's the playoffs.
Anything goes.
I've always been one to dismiss any complaining about refs... but this first half was terrible.
It's the playoffs.
Anything goes.
3 consecutive offensive fouls, parker and gino are struggling.
TP can't hit a jumper, and the Suns are giving him any one he wants to take..
Amare is left open every time....
the refs. Spurs can win 5 on 8 they've done it before.
I wish we had a decent point guard.
I'd be amazed if these refs could actually manage to count to three.
Manu might be struggling but he's getting boards, assists, steals, trying to draw charges.
Freakin' TP looks like he's never been here before. Christ, leave in Beno.
And only down by 1. Relax Spurs got this.
I wish we didn't have to play the Refs AND the Suns.
Crazy. Tony AND Manu can't hit and we're only down 1.
Could the refs be anymore pro Suns? The last four calls were bogus
I mean come on.. its worse than shaq.
The NBA should be ashamed for all the bull calls in this game. Respect for the game of basketball has lowered a couple of notches.![]()
We just need to play through the ref calls, just like in 03
Goddammit, that #%$%^Parker is playing like a re . He makes 1 shot and misses 5. How about better ball distribution? How about driving and getting fouls on the Suns? How about some intensity? Damn, I'm pissed.
Put in Beno.
I have one question for my fellow Spurs fans:
Why the do we always leave Amare so open for jumper????
Amare will just come down, stop at the elbow, stand there for 5 seconds, and then gets a pass from Nash for him to convert into an easy 2 points.
Every single time...Nazr is just chillin back under the basket, and Amare is draining every shot.
Also, it is so clear that Nash is unstoppable. He hits any jumper he wants, whether TP, Bowen, or Duncan is guarding him...we can't stop his jumper off the dribble.
Also, HOW THE do you commit so many consecutive offensive fouls?
It is just plain re ed when you offensive foul another player when you aren't even near the ball. How do we do that?
I just tuned into the board, but while I hear the refs are trying to help the SUns out, I also see that Nash is doing the scoring, and we're doing a pretty good job keeping Johnson, Marion, and Q out of the game thus far. That's key.
Also, Duncan is showing up and dominating, and that's the key to winning this.
I'm hopeful.
Playing against SUNS with these refs won't be easy, Amare is great but not having any call on him is impunity
Bavetta is BY FAR the worst ref in the game. I hate how he tries to take it over and gestures to the benches that he's in control. I live two hours away from Phx. If I leave now I can make it by the time he's walking to his car--of course I expect you all to pitch in with my bail fee.
Stop it you babies.
If the spurs play well enough they will win.
This is a tough game for the spurs. Phoenix is is desperation mode and at home and have already lost two home games.
The Suns will put everything out on the floor tonight while the spurs know they can still play again even with a loss.
Well, we are clearly going 5 on 8 tonight and I still think we are better.
When you double the ball out of Nash's hands, he finds a 3 point shooter. He can have 40 if he wants, as long as they're twos and JJ and Matrix are picking their noses on the perimeter.
Looking at these stats, we're VERY lucky to be only down 1. Manu and Tony are combined 6-19, we've got 9 turnovers, and Amare and Nash are both going for 40. The 3 point shot (5-11) and our offensive boards are saving us.
Are you even watching the game? They were bull calls. man, wake up.Also, HOW THE do you commit so many consecutive offensive fouls?
