son its all going to depend on how the officials act in the 3rd ... if they start calling fouls on both sides of the floor then CP3 can get a good 5 or 6 minute break. if not, then well you're right.

Despite the Lakers' insistence that he get an MRI and X-rays for precautionary reasons on Monday, the team has said Bryant refused taking such tests. He didn't talk to the media after Monday's practice to explain why

He was going to play regardless of the diagnosis, so the only reason to refuse the tests was because he knew they would show he's perfectly fine.

CP3 saving energy for the second half, while getting his teammates involved. Ariza has to be careful to not pick up 2 more fouls in the third. Okafor can be more aggressive in the second half. Landry has to get more post ups. If you're a Hornets fan, you have to be encouraged that your role players are hitting shots. But, giving up offensive boards, and turning the ball over is hurting you.


Kobe looks great, and Bynum can get any shot he wants. Artest is causing havoc, and the Laker bench has showed up. If Pau and Odom contribute in the second half, it'll be hard to lose this game.

Should be a good second half.

sons the first 4 games of the series were relatively fairly called games. however in this game you can tell the NBA is stepping in to ensure the Lakers have extra help. after all at the end of the day, its all about $$$$$ and the Lakers bring in the TV ratings. the NBA can't afford to not have them go deep in the playoffs.
