That might make sense had they not signed Amendola so quickly. Were they really so scared that Danny was going to get away?
I'm saying it's obvious Brady is pissed.
Gross.
Hopefully this means Woodhead is out the door.

Reports say they were scared of the scenario where they lose out on both Amendola and Welker so they went with the sure thing and figured Welker would get what he wants in the open market. I think they played it wrong and miscalculated a lot of , but the personal animosity isn't why they let Welker leave.
You're posting Tom Curran backing off the statement that Brady is pissed as proof that Brady is pissed?
Aaron Wilson@RavensInsiderEd Reed is definitely staying overnight for his Texans visit, told "It's looking serious," per a source.
Adam Schefter@AdamSchefter
Ravens S Ed Reed spoke today like a man saying goodbye to Baltimore. Every sign now points to him getting done a deal in Houston on Friday.
Michael Bennett to Seattle on a $5M/1 deal. That's really surprising.
Nothing to do with Flacco. I'd buy the Harbaugh power-play conspiracy over that.
Seattle's D is gonna be unreal next year.
Hearing Texans looking to make 2 more solid moves in FA maybe.
Very good...I believe led the league in PD's and rated well on PFF.
eh. We'll see if something doesn't surface about that later. It's hard to believe they let him walk so easily.
On it's own, no, but put it all together, I think there is plenty of evidence to suggest he is.You're posting Tom Curran backing off the statement that Brady is pissed as proof that Brady is pissed?
Since the Pats did the same thing to him in '05 with Branch, I don't know how he wouldn't be pissed after getting ed the same way yet again.
I guess it's theoretically possible but realistically, lol no ing way.
I think some flak really has to start falling on Belichick. The Patriots have had too many high draft picks, too much cap space, and too many players wanting to take discounts to play for him for them to lack as much talent as they do now. Either the Patriots aren't bringing in the right players, or the coaching staff is failing to develop them properly. As far as I understand it, both of those things fall on Belichick's shoulders.
How do Pats fans feel about their team needing another off-season to address needs they've had for years now? Am I wrong in believing Belichick has been off the last few years (at least with the defense)?
But their O won't be. They have a dumb chimp QB at the helm. That D will only do so much.![]()
Can't wait for Russell Wilson's hindu-looking ass to get exposed like Cam Newton was last year, tbh..
The Chiefs' grotesquely overrated offseason rolls on with the signing of Sean Smith, easily the most overhyped corner in the league.... he was graded only 52nd in coverage among all cornerbacks last season by PFF, yet there was somehow a decent market out there for this guy and he was considered one of the best in free agency, tbh.... Derek Cox is better when healthy...
Teams will adjust to him much easier.![]()
Free safety playing centerfield.
But yeah.
Yes on defense, no on offense. Their O-line picks have been pretty good, and of course Gronk and Hernandez. Their secondary picks have looked good for a year or two then fallen off. I think their secondary coach must suck, or hteir process for picking those players suck, or some combo.
The fact he didn't get pissed when he went into a season with Doug Gabriel and Reche Caldwell as his receivers in 2006 only demonstrates he won't get pissed as long as they use their cap space this offseason.
not really, i am very satisfied with the talent level on the team, without back-to-back gronkowski injuries we'd probably be two time superbowl winners, this year the defense made major strides, i trust bill to grab another reciever and a corner and that should be it..
I think Bill understood where the league was headed, he just had a ty gameplan. if you have a top QB and an elite offense you can win a le, you really don't need an elite defense to win. The Saints and Packers proved that. What Bill did wrong was in his defensive scheme. If you want to win with a weak defense, your D has to be overly aggressive at forcing turnovers, like the Saints and Packers. Bill not only had a ty defense, but he played it ultra conservative and never tries to blitz or have his DB's jump routes. So instead of getting burned on big plays all game but force 2-3 turnovers as well, his defense just gets burned nonstop.
