It was a stupid pick. The Spurs heard the Lakers or some team was after him and they panicked and drafted a guy they could have had at 45 with their late first round pick. Unbelievable, considering there were two fat prospects widely considered lottery picks in Greene and Arthur just sitting there. If you don't want either of them, other teams will, and you have to turn them into something. I liked Hill as a player and person but that was a stupid-ass pick.

hill was scheduled to be drafted in the 30's
sure he wouldn't have been there with our second round pick

for greene i agree , he has a lot of talent , he's a long three and fit a spurs need and can play immediatly

for arthur you can draft him only if you don't want to play mahinmi or you didn't see nothing good in him so not the priority
