Games like this (first game of a back-to-back) is when Jefferson should be playing 40 minutes, so that the Spurs don't have to overplay the big three, yet can theoretically remain compe ive enough to stay in and win these games. Instead, he's going to burn out Duncan, probably end up losing and set the team up to lose tomorrow as well. Jefferson is big, strong, athletic, durable and in his prime, yet this re coach thinks he can never handle major minutes.
