i expected some improvement after splitter and JA spent a year with the spurs.Because it is.

Aside from the Big 3, Neal, Anderson and Leonard, this team lacks talent.
Splitter is just plain weak in every respect.
Richard can't be a big time player. Missing the mentality.
Bonner can't rebound.
Blair is as much a clown as Bonner. He bangs his layups off the goal/backboard extremely hard EVERY time.
Only half our team is even worthy of being in the NBA.
Aside from Tim, none of the bigs are.
We're ed.
IMO, this is what I expect the Spurs to look like when we blow it up...

lol what? we might not have bonner on the team either.
Leonard's defense looks very good - moves his feet fast and uses his length to contest shots.
Anderson looks good - been working on pullups off the dribble and using his body to get separation.
Understandably, Splitter is worried about fouling - the whistle is going crazy.
TJs decision making and quickness look good.
Bigs will be fine later in the season when TD & Dice are in the rotation.
Well we are obviously w/o Tim or TP, but you can still see some very alarming problems. I can't believe they are rolling w/ this front line.
If Antonie Walker can be in the D league so can Blair. His game does not belong in the NBA.
same here, im only watchin this game cause of leonard and splitter, splitter was fine until they started callin his bumping fouls...
leonard is fkn passive mentally, he should be taking the reigns and pulling the shots...doesnt help when he hangs out at the perimeter alot
Splitter will be called for a lot of fouls... it's basically his first season and he still hasn't made a name for himself as a defensive force, refs don't know him, etc... hopefully that will improve over time
Yeah, Cowboys this season have been as maddening as the Spurs off-season...luckily they are playing a worse team than them tonight. Cowboys won't make the playoffs though...
I agree...I don't know why everyone expects them to be perfect out the gates, it's the first preseason game after a long ass lockout, there is gonna be rust and some confusion. They can only get better from here chill out and enjoy the game...Focus on the positives and stop pointing out every bad thing that you all see!!!!

Houston is playing their best players. The Spurs are playing their 3rd string guys.
I don't give a rat's ass about the score. I want to see some good picks, some good stops, decent spacing (Bonner!) and see what Ford can do in terms of decision making and stop ING going around screens.
