Ladies and gents, let's get this show on the road...![]()
available on nbatv in san antonio?
Could not find information on local broadcast. If there's any news on that, I'll update. I would think that if there's no local coverage, NBA TV won't black it out, but not sure ATM.
Actually, just found it. Game is in Houston, will be broadcast by KTXH there. I'll update the post in a min.
Now all we need are couple of greys to tell us who should and who should not be starting game blogs and the season will officially be kicked off.
Don't care who starts the threads ... but where is the girl with the "Spurs win" sign?
Sat. 17 @ Houston (preseason) 7:00 NO TV
This one?

Can we not mention our playoff record in every Game Blog?![]()
Updated to reflect Fox Sports Southwest local coverage in San Antonio (per Spurs.com).
Basketball this weekend! WOOOOOOO HOOOOOOO!![]()
Feels good, doesn't it Dex? Instead of bumping the same old Resuming CBA talks thread and little hope of there being a season, we get Spurs basketball back.![]()
It's about time, indeed. Was starting to feel like we'd never see our Spurs again.
I wonder how Pop is going to manage the minutes. Will he give more minutes to the rookies/young players in a meaningless preseason game to evaluate them, try different things he can't do in a regular season game or seeing as their only two preseason games this year and how everything is so jumbled up in a hurry, will he give more minutes to his usual rotation so they can get a feel of things?
I'm betting more of the latter. Pop will probably be forced to treat these two preseason games much like he would treat the last two preseason games of a normal season: not quite full minutes for the starters, but close enough to give them a good run and establish some semblance of a regular season rotation. Otherwise they would have to spend the first few games of the season trying to hammer these things out, and in a shortened season, each win or loss takes on even heavier weight.
Agreed ... so it will be very interesting to see the starting lineup as it might be the one for the start of the regular season as well.
if we beat this 2nd seed team in the west according to their fans...does that make spurs contenders
