I wonder how Pop is going to manage the minutes. Will he give more minutes to the rookies/young players in a meaningless preseason game to evaluate them, try different things he can't do in a regular season game or seeing as their only two preseason games this year and how everything is so jumbled up in a hurry, will he give more minutes to his usual rotation so they can get a feel of things?

I'm betting more of the latter. Pop will probably be forced to treat these two preseason games much like he would treat the last two preseason games of a normal season: not quite full minutes for the starters, but close enough to give them a good run and establish some semblance of a regular season rotation. Otherwise they would have to spend the first few games of the season trying to hammer these things out, and in a shortened season, each win or loss takes on even heavier weight.

Agreed ... so it will be very interesting to see the starting lineup as it might be the one for the start of the regular season as well.
