You may have to reduce these, I don't know the rule for sig sizes.

Nah, Lakers just have the Mavs #. It's just the way it is. Mavs matchup well with Spurs/Celtics/Pistons. But no matter what they have problems with the Lakers. Lakers always have a hard time with the Bobcats

0-6 against +.500 teams with Kidd. Crappy coach who won't even use Kidd in late-game situations. I dont care if they do or not. Tonight was supposed to be the debut of the new-look Mavericks who finally developed chemistry with Jason Kidd. They completely licked balls under the pressure and put up a too little too late effort at the end. the Mavericks.

Once again, close doesn't count. Until further notice, the Mavs are a kiss-up, kick-down team. They can beat crappy teams and they can't beat good ones. That doesn't bode well for anything other than getting Kevin Love with the fifteenth pick in the draft.
Avery is just great:
Kidd played 27 minutes. Dampier played 19 minutes. Okay, he got 2 fouls early, but foul trouble in the first half does not mean foul trouble in the second half. Would've been nice to have him in there in the final two minutes for rebounding purposes. No Kidd to inbound on the final play.
It was amazing to see the way they pressured Kobe and closed out and trapped him when they came back. Wish they had done that from the tipoff.
These guys are just mental midgets. A 7th grade rec league team at the Y understands you have to give effort and hustle. After the last two playoff exits and fighting for their playoff lives they think they can coast and other teams are going to cower in fear of them?
So Cuban traded for a HOF PG, how about a HOF coach? Larry Brown is currently playing shuffleboard and eating dinner at IHOP at 4 pm

The Mavs just can't put it all together. They are talented and very good, but it's always something.
Amazingly, with Denver and Houston losing as well, we're no worse off than we were 3 hours ago, pole position wise.
I just cried in a drunken hysteria. I ing hate this. All this hope and belief in this team only for them to crush me every time. I can only take being ed over as a fan for so long. I'll always love the Mavs, and I'll always root for them, but it's time for me to move on and start hoping for a rebuilding effort.
Goddammit I'm comparing myself to a bride being left at the altar. Mother er. I hate everything and everybody. everything.
If I was a Mavs fan I'd be pissed about Stack watching Vujacic shoot an open jumper at the shot clock buzzer. He was in reach where he could have challenged the shot or at least gotten in the way, but he basically just stopped and watched as Sasha got a wide open look.
Wow I missed the entire 2nd half and I'm glad I did. I don't even want to know how we pissed away a 21pt lead.
The Mavs played 24 minutes. Unfortunately, an NBA game is 48 minutes long.
I'm pissed about a lot of things:
- no funneling Kobe to the baseline and a second help defender when he started dribble penetration off the wings in the first half. That's how Houston held him to 11-33 shooting.
- getting outhustled in a must-win game against an undermanned Laker team
- Avery playing Kidd only 27 minutes
- Avery playing Dampier only 19 minutes
- Avery having Howard inbound the ball instead of Kidd on the last play.
anybody remember the Portland series? going up 3-0, blowing that lead, then Dirk going off like a mother er in game 7? good .
I just want to remember all the good times as a Mavs fan, because those good times are long gone people. The rebuilding effort is coming, and I can't wait. Things will be rough, but true Mavs fans will weather the storm, and in 4 or 5 years we'll be back on top (I hope).
Give Kobe 4 WNBA players and he'll beat the Mavericks!
