Scaring the out of a certain old man...
not as much as a trip to the Phoenix municipal courthouse to pay The Ticket scares him
The Nets turned the ball over nine times, while the Raptors had 19, leading to 17 Brooklyn points.
"That was the biggest issue," Toronto coach Dwane Casey said.
Valanciunas is the second Raptors player to have a double-double in his postseason debut. Tracy McGrady had 25 points and 10 rebounds against New York in his first playoff game in 2000.
"He grew up today and that was huge for us," Casey said.
"DeMar didn't have the best of games" Lowry said. "He'll bounce back for sure."
"It was definitely tough because you're used to looking up to see the time," DeRozan said. "We just tried to help each other out when the announcer called down from 10 seconds."
In a written statement, Raptors ownership blamed the outage on a "signal path failure" that also affected the backup clocks. The team said new cables will be installed and inspected by the league before Game 2 on Tuesday night.
Craptors can't win without Vince Carter.
Brooklyn have been a top 3 team since 2014 they're the real deal in the East which is crystal clear now.
They have and that is what makes this series tough. Although BKY had been playing very well, when you watch them, they do it like the Spurs although with less consistency. They rely on their bench and some older players and don't have that consistent superstar. They are playing great, especially JJ and other role players, but I don't trust Dwill at all anymore.
Nets are the only team that can knock the Heat out in the East. Pacers are no longer a threat.
Thinking the old gots in Brooklyn can even challenge Miami
DeChoke DeScrubban barely even putting any effort in.... dude, wake up, it's the playoffs....
I hear ya,,,,Heat crushed the Nets this year.
Valanciunas is gonna be a monster soon.... really like how he plays....
Dude takes the worst 3's sometimes but damn he dgaf
anyone in 2014 that still buys into any regular season head to head record involving Miami...
it's so obvious LeBron tanks those games on purpose just to give them a little confidence, only to crush their souls come the actual thing..
KG still one of the least likeable guys in the NBA.
You sold me,,,,your Mavs got swept by the Spurs this season,,,regular season means nothing,,,,Dallas wins and moves on to the 2nd round.
The Old gots won three of their games against a coasting Miami team by one point each and the other one in double overtime.... the season series means absolutely nothing.....
I hear you,,,but you cant ignore the fact that the team who wins a regular season series usually wins against the same team in a playoffs series,,,,its a very high percentage.
TOR's starters have to do a better job, especially Lowry/DeRozan. If they can keep pace or build a little buffer, their bench is a nice advantage.
