Good take. I just heard some talk radio yahoo say Pop called him "a faker" by not returning and he did no such thing. Manu and him said the same thing, it's time to move forward with who we have. If Kawhi is in pain I doubt anyone wants him playing. If anyone thinks he is 'faking' then prove it for that's a breach of contract.I think Pop and the team are just facing the facts. Either way he's on board next year and we will see what happens.
