Not even the worst president this century
There's no spinning what an awful candidate Joe is, tbh... I know, he's running against Trump, perhaps the worst president ever, but we're not grading on a curve here.
Not even the worst president this century
Who you got? Dubya?
If you're talking about Bushy, at least he took pandemics the most seriously out of the three. If you're talking about someone else, I'd love to hear your reasoning.
Sorry, I meant Cheney... same thing, really
An argument can certainly be made that Dubya was worse but I'm hard pressed to argue that I'd rather have had Trump in the White House on 9/11. At least it was pre-Twitter.
Why would I?
The only reason I'm so involved in politics these days is because of Trump. I didn't vote in 2008 and barely voted in 2012 because I wanted to exercise my rights for the first time ever.
I have a vested interest in getting rid of Trump. After he's out of here I dont expect to be as politically active as I am now.
So you can take your idiotic narrative and go have a shouting match with koriwhat or something.
if the DNC can convince people that Biden is a well spoken charismatic politician, they can do it with anyone. Biden is about as mediocre and sleazy as it gets. He's been in Washington for 30+ years and has no signature issues he's passionate about other than awkwardly groping women. There's absolutely nothing about the guy that makes him likable other than the fact he's stupid as so average Americans can relate to him.
At least Klobuchar has things she's passionate about, like throwing staplers at interns and feeding the childhood obesity epidemic by making sure pizza counts as a vegetable for school lunches.
The blue team almost got to the point they made up nicknames for opponents, it was so close...
Little Marco, lyin Ted ...
It almost went middle school like the red team (ahhh, I should just say Donald; as he IS the red team)
I used to say the same thing, but Trump's mishandling of COVID-19 has become an even bigger abortion than Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Still at war in the middle east. Though, I'm sure he or Obama still would have found a reason to interject themselves in the middle east even if 9/11 didn't happen. And Trump's deportations are down compared to Bush and especially Obama.
Absolutely, and dubya was certainly willing to at least throw a bone with Medicare Part D, tbh. We're talking bottom of the barrel here anyways, and I understand if he felt dubya was worse.
I'm sure the effects of COVID will be felt long after, but the Iraq was is the longest war in US history. That's ing mad. But he came out with Ellen, so he's been completely restored.
I'm sure in 2032, we're gonna miss Trump, cause Tom Cotton is worse, and we will completely restore his status as a "good guy", like W.
Medicare Part D was a disaster imo, expensive drugs for old people who are ready to die anyway that are only paid for with more deficit spending that does nothing to address cost, the real problem.
Unfair to bring up Obama's deportations, though. He was the GOAT at deporting and building the cages that we're so mad Trump is using now. Never gonna reach those type of numbers again.
It was a handout, unpaid for, covering a hole that left old people without medicine anyways. Obviously far from what a real solution looks like, but we're talking a GOP president here, you really can't expect a whole lot more.
Spent 8 years calling Bush “literally Hitler”
And now in the Trump era you have to give begrudging compliments to Bush
Almost like centrist Dem fearmongering has been a massive epidemic for years.
I'd rather have the deportations than the detentions but point taken. Trump's failure to end any conflict shows how difficult all that is and I'd say his bending over to accommodate Saudi Arabia's war in Yemen is pretty much on par with other presidents (not close to Bushy, of course).
What's with all of the Tom Cotton mentions? He's a Republican senator from Arkansas so I just assume he's a piece of sanctimonious bible thumping fascist, but is there a story about him or something?
At least you had sanctuary cities and dreamers...
You're missing the point where Obama built these cages.
But yes, the Yemen war that started under Obama, that no one really cared about until 2017
Let's be fair here, I thought during the dubya years that's the lowest I was going to see...

What are sanctuary cities? Cause I know personally of a friend who had ice come to their house and deport their dad. He had to dye his hair and other BS just to get back. This was in 2012
Iraq was one of the worst foreign policy mistakes since folding to Britain and France in 1919. I gave credit to Bushy's strengths during his presidency but Iraq is still unforgivable, just like Dennison's pandemic response and gassing peaceful protesters.
it's literally a repeat of 2004 after the DNC sabotaged Howard Dean's campaign once he got a little too far left for their looking
"I know John Kerry is the most uninteresting eggheaded centrist corporate shill there is to offer, BUT YOU NEED TO VOTE FOR HIM BECAUSE ANOTHER 4 YEARS OF GWB = DOOMSDAY!!!"
