Guys, that game was winnable, but Nash and co. hit a few ridiculously hard shots and sealed the deal for them. We'll be back. It's not the end of the world!

A lot of you guys dwell on losses too much... one reason why I mostly lurk than post.

the Spurs have got to be the crappiest good team in the NBA
so true, I don't like the new PASSIVE pop. We should go back to last year's starting lineup/rotation.

Ginobili should be ready tuesday to go back into the starting 5.

I dont know if it wouldve mattered tonight.

Tonight was a typical 2nd game of a back to back.

Great start, mediocre middle, tired no energy end.

Look at the big picture, what did our defense do to their offense? Does this game really mean THAT much? We won five games in a row before this, we have to lose eventually. I'd gladly take one loss for every five games won in a season. A lot of teams are desperately crawling to the playoff spot... while Spurs fans here are bickering about losing a close, yet meaningless game, after winning five in a row before it.

Edit: guys should stop bashing T-Park every chance they can get.

yeah all the wings, sans Ginobili, stunk up bad.

Barry his usual suck ass game.

    Finley another bad game.
    Van exel and Rasho too.

Bowen Ill give a pass to, he more than likely was tired, dude busted his ass last night, and was one of the main reasons they won.

Bowen always gets a free pass from critique in my book.

The margin for error was very slim at the end of a tight Suns home game. The Spurs D'd up very nicely to take a lead on Horry's two 3s. When the Suns hit a couple of big shots, the Spurs made a couple of mistakes that cost them the game. Timmy knew he blew it with that turnover. Yes Diaw fouled Timmy on that last feed on the post but I thought NVE should have taken the 3 there.

All in all, I was pleased with the effort the Spurs reached down for in the 4th. I was disappointed with the mental errors/turnovers. They obviously lost some of their energy to close out the 3rd and early 4th pd. The loss stings a bit but then again, I didn't expect the Spurs to win tonight.

Damn, our first and second string Centers combine for 1 point and 7 rebounds....that's just sad. Oh and Finley needs to wake up, he went 1-7 yesterday and 2-6 today. I don't know why Barry has disappeared yet again this season.

Oh well, Spurs better beat their next 3...Nets, Pistons, and Grizz

The Suns need to get credit. Remember, the moves they made in the offseason were specifically made to target the Spurs. They've always recognized that success and a championship goes through San Antonio. The defensive game in Phoenix is represented by the additions of Bell, Thomas, and Diaw. Imagine what this team could be doing if Amare were playing.

    Hes in a funk.

    Happens to the best shooters.

When he gets out of it, he shoots well.

Just has to keep shootin though.

They lose, due to Amare's pathetic D.

    LOL

I dont get Suns fans thinking Amare being there would improve them a whole bunch more.

He would take alot of shots away from others, his defense is horrible, giving up more points...

    Tony had 6 assists.
Only 3 other Spurs had an assist.

    Bruce Bowen had 2 assists.
    Tim Duncan had 1 assist.
    Brent Barry had 1 assist.

The Spurs need a good BM*.
    Nuf' said.
