I like to tell it like it is, as Cosell once said. These 2 games without Tim should convince most people that Manu is the no. 2 option behind TD, not TP. Manu plays smart & aggressive. TP has a big heart but doesnt play too intelligently for a PG unfortunately. Not saying TP is not a very good player but the basic order of importance is TD, Manu, and TP/Bowen.....then there are the rest of the players.

It's really disheartening to see Parker like this. He is a great player but he does struggle with quick PGs. This is not news. Playing against Gibson in the finals allowed him to dismantle the Cavs as he was no match to him but I don't think he would have had such a wonderful series with Williams on him during 7 games. If you want to call me a manu homer for saying this, please be my guest but what is going on is clear. Parker need to up his confidence when playing against challenging PGs and work on his D on them so we can use Bowen on other resources.

You see the 3rd period just started and Pop had to bench him. That tells you something.
