i dunno know if house was ever a man, but he sure is a now.
Great Defense always pisses off the other team. If you've ever played basketball, you really hated that guy that was all over you..."you cheap dirty bas ...stay away from me!!"
and so it goes...
i dunno know if house was ever a man, but he sure is a now.

THAT is exactly what it was. Some NBA players nowadays forget that there is a thing called hustle and defense. they expect other players to just LET them make plays or not try hard 100% of the time. carmelo anthony, allen iverson & ray allen are perfect examples. all of them![]()
THIS SHOULD B PUT IN ROCK SOMEWHERE (like in wah wah allen's locker & melo & AI.....)
TSHIRTS maybe....
PLAY or BE PLAYED!![]()

Well, I don't know so much about Iverson. That lil fuker takes a lot of hits and keeps on coming. But for sure Melo and Ray Ray are a couple of whiny es that lose their cool when you play tight defense on them. And actually why I wonder if Boston will make it to the Finals.
Refs are starting to let teams play hard now, so you can just imagine what the playoffs are going to be like. How long before Ray Ray loses his composure and blows up? Once you rattle him, he becomes worthless on the court.
its what I'm talkin bout!
But the pic should be Manu up faking at the 3 pt line, with a player flying at him, and Manu saying "Don't you idiots ever learn"? "Gotcha again"....
get 'er done! photoshop
make sum chirts...

Go back and watch the game if you have it recorded. Watch the elbows and shoves that Manu takes...especially after the incident with Stack. Ginobili doesn't retaliate with shoves and punches. If the ref doesn't blow the whistle, then its no harm. It' s tough, hard basketball and thats it. Nothing personal.
The difference is, Manu gets it. He understands. He won't let his emotions hurt his team. Need proof ? Look at the Medals and Rings.
Manu is a great player, never said otherwise. I don't care about FIBA. He'll never lead a team to a le, but he's got Duncan on his side. He would be the first one to say so.
Well, at least "Poor Manu" is doing his part![]()
ROFL i thought you knew more about basketball... he LEAD Argentina to defeat an ALL STAR team USA team on the biggest international stage and you bring this crap.... you need a break Fin... 4 real...
Again, Manu is a great player. No argument from me on that point. But it's not that surprising that Argentina would beat the US under FIBA rules. Duncan is not as effective in FIBA play. The US would slaughter all comers under NBA rules.
I started disliking Avery even more when he decided to drag on his retirement jersey acceptance speech an extra 40 fkn minutes.![]()
Findog....I respect your tenacity.
But how much ing time have you spent on this thread?
I usually avoid these kinds of threads in the Spurs section of the board, but I like the give and take sometimes.
Didn't Stackhouse say that Manu's game is to grab and pull? I guess he thinks nobody saw him grab Manu's shorts on a fast break in the first half.
Long story short, Stack was right in playing Manu tough, even a hard foul would be respected, however what he did was vicious and could have easily injured his neck, could have even snapped if if Manu's head was led at a slightly different angle.
Nothing like padding your post count....
Great post! Let's read it again.....
I think Avery has just been "running with the wrong crowd (cuban, mavs)" and can still be saved. He's still a Spur at heart but he kisses cuban's butt. He needs to "BE A MAN" like Nelson, and not take cuban's crap.
Today Dwight Howard boxed out Thomas, who ended up with blood in his face thanks to carefully positioned Superman elbows while boxing him out for a rebound, the funny thing is that KT did not take exception and tried to choke him, but went to the bench and put ice on it (or just some towel). Now before you counter saying that is different for DH is very good controlling his elbows and that was just a coincidence, remember that in the very same match he INJURED (for real, not like the fantasies about Manu) his OWN teammate, who was knocked down AND IT IS NOT THE FIRST TIME HE DOES THAT TO A TEAMMATE, in fact is the second time to the very same teammate, as you can read here Here
Yet, nobody is even mentioning it, but if the player who does that is Manu (I wonder is is just for he is white an hispanic?) then raisers abound.
It is no coincidence that nearly every game someone is trying to take out Manu Ginobli at some point.
