    Quit whining.

Derek Fisher's shot hit the rim.
    Honest mistake versus horrendous no-call.

Yeah, call sucked, but so did our rebounding all night long down to the very end. Laker Boards won that game. Good night, and I'm going to dream that we can pull this out in 7.

Gasol had Horrys arm completely pinned. Only reason why Horry did not get a hand on the rebound. Foul on Gasol all the way.
    Either way its Spurs ball.
    Nah.

I appreciate you guys shooting 40% though.

It's the lakers and celtics, it was determined when the playoffs started. The NBA is a business and needs to make money, period.
OR they were the best two teams? ever thought of that?

Obviously they got together and made a decision before anyone got interviewed.

Now could you imagine what would have happened if it was the Lakers on the receiving end?
I know they did, but sometimes they need to in man up. There's a reason like this continues to happen to them every other year.

Why doesn't this ever happen to a Phil Jackson coached team? Kobe would have gotten the call. And if he hadn't, u'd be damn sure he'd be screaming and hollering postgame and you'd be sure the refs/league would do something about it.

Where does all this, "You're not gonna get that call at the end of a game" talk come from.

    2006 Dirk strongly disagrees.

They tried to stop us, believe me. KG going to boston and Pao going to LA were set up by Stern and the NBA so that they'd have an easier time fixing the outcome.
Yeah they waited that long while the Spurs killed the ratings every single year they went to the finals? Please.

Every team thinks the league is after them.

Wow as much as i dislike the spurs i feel for every spur fan out there. ive been heatbroken many times as a mav fan. i know what it feels like. this ones gotta bite. kobe was a little in his post game interview. that . go spurs in 7. make that little cry in front of his worshipers.
AWWW.. a Mavs fan.. hey maybe you and some of these Spurs fans can cry on each others shoulders. The only thing the Mavs will ever win was last years MVP, and well deserved... they gave the MVP to Dirk Nowitzki who got bounced in the first round in one of the greatest upsets in nba history..

Keep hating on the Lakers you will never have a

And change your avatar.. Lil' Wayne is gayer than the Spurs..

lol, so they blow a call against the Lakers and it's fine, but they miss a call against the Spurs and OMG ITS NOT FAIR.

Kobe averaged 16 FTs a game against Utah, shot 0 tonight. Wow

Every time the Lakers are attempting a 3 in the game 5 the Spurs need to jump on the player...

    It's not a foul.

They have to sell it for it to be a foul.

Just jump on the guy when they are shooting...that's all you gotta do.
That's actually not a bad idea....

A shot that might have grazed the rim and was easily missed by the ref is different than ignoring a clear foul.
How so? There is correct and not correct. Both wer not correct.

    1) Brent was fouled. Should've been called.

    2) Fisher's shot hit the rim. Should've reset the shot clock.

    3) That goaltending on Odom was correctly called, but also should've been an and 1.

Such a frustrating loss. Thank God for Brent Barry. Without him tonight, we wouldn't have stood a chance.

I still believe, but this is the hardest challenge the Spurs have faced in a long time. Go Spurs Go!

The most glaringly obvious foul of the night and not one of those gutless, crooked, betting mother ers had the courage to make the right call. Gino's bad night notwithstanding this series should be tied right now. And the fakers are the best team in the conference? My ass! The fakers are ing dog ! Is this is how they expect to win a le? What a goddamned laugh. I hope the Celtics ing rape them. And for all of you Hollywood got/Laker fans that spew on this forum, I hope a severe earthquake hits LA tonight and kills every last one of you sorry mother ers. That's after the faker charter crashes into Las Vegas and wipes out all of the sonsa es who bet on their sorry, lucky ing asses. And I mean all of this from the bottom of my evil ing heart.
Spurs are classy, seems like not all their fans follow suit. You need a timeout.

    Notice Pop's words carefully.

    "If I was the official."

If Pop was the official, he would be Joey Crawford. He Pop were Joey Crawford, he wouldn't call that a foul either because he'd be a dirty official with a vendetta against the Spurs.

    Read between the lines.
Man, even Pistons fans are picking up on CIA Pop.

If the refs had made a no-call like that against Kobe, Stern would order a replay. Nothing is going to stop his wet dream.

It should have been a two-shot, non-shooting foul, as Barry did not even begin his shot attempt until well after it happened.

So yes, you can have the foul; just give back the Duncan FOUR-STEP layup in the first half. Assuming Barry makes the free throws, it's still a two-point Lakers victory.
