1st of all, i cannot speak for any other religion except Christianity.

The belief in Jesus Christ.

Christianity and Jesus exist for our Salvation.

For each and everyone of us to have Eternal Life.

For each and everyone of us to live our dreams without Fear and live our lives for HIM and His Glory.

In my opinion you used good judgment. I don't believe it had anything to do with faith.

I am not strong enough by myself to use good judgement all the time. Temptation and the need to escape stress are too strong for me to stay away from sin. I've been there bro, Marijuana, excessive drinking, i'm talking mucho tequila, throwing up every weekend, mostly after binge eating while stupid drunk....lusting after women...feeling insecure....snorted cocaine 3 times in my life...thank God that demon never got me...over eating like a muther er...people don't get to be 370 pounds like I was without trying to find comfort and escape from food....

I still have innerdemons...i'm killing them one at a time...my dad walked out on me when i was 3. left me waiting and crying on my Gma's front porch when i was 8. had an insecure stepdad with puertorican blood and a military background that needed to be in control of EVERYTHING...overheard him tell my mom's he'd kill her if she didn't have 'that kid' in the other room...he would test me over and over, i would inevitably fail and he would tell how rotten a kid i was...Was a FAT, REDHEADED STEPCHILD, Growing up in the 80's with no siblings (half bros and sisters I have, but they didn't live with me) bad hair, bad clothes, geeky glasses, etc, etc, etc...

then i got my Engineering degree in '97...by the grace of God...didn't even have a 2.5 gpa...they should have failed my ass and made me take another semester. Got out of school, made mom's proud, I was her son engineer! but i was miserable. i didn't want to be an engineer. then i thought, hey, i could be a teacher. i was a sub and a permanant sub off and on for a couple years...but i was insecure. about this time i found alcohol and weed. it helped me escape. Then in 99, i found Friedrich A/C and became the Engineer everyone wanted me to be. I was proud of myself. I was miserable after a few months. I had more money than i had before, the respect that comes from being an Engineer...but I didn't respect or LOVE myself. It was destroying me. That's why i turned to SPURSTALK in the 1st place...Mouse made me laff...Spurstalk became my daily escape from my 10x10 prison! I loved my coworkers...my friends...but the climate at Friedrich was bad. it started at the top. Insecure people. it trickled down to the bottom and people knew not to rock the boat or they would get thrown overboard...but the fact was, the boat was/is sinking anyway...

for 6 years, I was AFRAID OF GETTING FIRED! Then ONE DAY, It hit me. I Quit. I took control and now I am FREE! and I have NEVER BEEN HAPPIER IN MY LIFE!

All that was destroying me for so long...but it's all gone now...flushed down the toilet...i still remember, but I don't hurt any longer. I dropped my personal demons and set myself free. Took me almost 31 years...but now i'm on my way.

and i'm not Saved by Buddha in case anyone was wondering...
