Why do people bag on Barry? The only time our offense had any flow in the second half was when Barry was running point and Tony was playing off guard.
Barry had four assists in that time, but hey - he didn't score 20 so it's obviously on him.

The team did not lose because of an individual. Pop, PJ, Tim, Tony, Manu, even Tony Massenburg, they're all Spurs, and the Spurs lost.

well, i hardly doubt we'd still lose had we made some shots...
you will see earlier that I said this loss should be mostly on pop. His decision to not go back to the things that worked earlier in the game caused the spurs to have this game come down to the wire. When your offense is dead for 10 and 1/2 minutes and you don't make some changes then you are responsible.
No guys, ok I'm gonna say this ONCE: I KNOW that the Spurs will win this series...I am just reacting this way because I am really pissed that we lost game 1 when we could have easily taken the win on a normal night with our bench...that's all...I'm just furious because of how we couldn't hit a shot the whole quarter.
I just wanted to win both of the 1st home games before headin over to Denver...but the Spurs had to choke like the Eagles... ...all my teams choke.

All I've got to say is injuries might end the spurs season this year. It's so hard to play well when you miss two of your key players and duncan is way below 100%. The spurs weren't able to get any consistency before these playoffs!!! Denver is also a very very goood team, they are very capable of winning the championship.
as long as Duncan shows up next game, then YES we will.

tough loss but i'm not worried. we're the better team and we'll win back homecourt in denver. i expect this team to come out fired up for game two and win by 10+

johnny i see what you're sayin but man, how many times have we seen the spurs in this offensive drought time and time again, i know this might have been the worst of all the droughts, but its happening way too many times that the spurs can't put it in the hole.

every one does realize this is a best of seven, right? just checking. we've lost game ones before. remember 2003? things worked out alright that year with game one losses.
yes but this years SA team and this years 1st rd opponent are way different teams. PHX won by a total fluke while DEN kicked our asses
