Good news is that the Spurs seemed to force quite a lot of shot clock violations.

Just caught up with this and my motivation for this season is already low.

There are only two options: Pop is either too far gone and senile or he's tanking on purpose yet again.
If random fans like us on this forum can see most of our lineups simply don't work because opponents can just ignore multiple players on the perimeter, then what the is an NBA coach thinking?
Jeremy/Castle/Wesley lineup yet again, like what the actual ?

As I wrote like a week ago, we have 0 elite shooters, 2 good shooters that have to be respected (Devin, Champagnie), 2 solid shooters that will make open shots (CP3, Barnes) and after that opponents can pretty much leave everyone else wide open. It's 2024 with top teams putting upt 50 3pts per game and we legit can't have functional lineups with 4 players who can hit wide open shots.

Wemby's self-creation and ball security has been horrible, but what are we even talking about if our coach can't figure out how to get 10 easy points per game for his 7'4 center.

Back to watching pick odds, I guess.

Spurs biggest issue i see this season is offense, This Team is sorely lacking scoring(shooters) in the starting lineup. Defense is bad and turnovers and you cannot blame JS for that.

If you are making up silver linings, the Spurs did show some fight. They came back and got within like 8 points (I think) in the fourth quarter...then the wheels fell off.

But yeah, major takeaway from this game (and really, the early season) is that Wemby just isn't looking great so far, and our shooting looks pathetic especially when compared against a team like OKC filled with shooters.
