Heat has offered Wade 2 years, $40 million with a player option in second year.
I would be nice if SA could dump a pick (2nd round) + cash for a team to take on Tim (to cover buyout) and he retires. Tim is gone anyways, so trading him to open up the 16M would allow Boris to be kept. But looks like that is not likely.

Chris McCullough, TBH.
Marks should do us a favor
But aren't S&Ts supposed to be at least 3 years minimum ? From all the reports, it seems that Pau is signing a 2-year deal with a PO in the 2nd year.
If we had more wing talent that'd be interesting. Fathead and Simmons isn't a great smallball lineup.
@SportsCenter Mavs & unrestricted free agent-to-be Harrison Barnes have verbal agreement on 4-yr, $94M deal.
Also, why would it take Boris/Mills in a S&T (Which SA can't do evidently) and only Boris if they just pursue cap space? Wouldn't it be the same hypothetically?
Mavs somehow downgraded from Parsons
Im gonna be mad if Boban is gone
Losing Tim, BoBo, and Durant signing with Warriors today.. damn what a ty turn of events.
Hopefully Pau pans out.
I'm starting to really doubt that many is gonna come back. He wants market value and I don't think we're gonna be anywhere remotely close. Ideas?
At least he's younger. He'll still be in his prime at the tail end of the GSW dynasty.
They have $10 Million in cap space. So they only need to free up $4-5 Million to get the space they need. If they stay over the cap (which pretty much means giving Manu big money at this point), they need to send out about $10 Million in salary to meet the trade requirements.
If the Spurs lose Manu on top of Boris for the sake of Pau Gasol, I will lose my mind
They'll get one for the min. Someone raw but athletic.
Look, there are holes on SA and we all knew the limitations. But you have to get starters when you can; especially when in my eyes you get them on a deal that *likely* allows you to fully reset next year as well.
West opted out already. Tim is retiring (most likely). Those are outside of SA control. You have to get your SL the best you can especially if you don't have to mortgage next year's "plan" to do so. Losing Boris is the cost it looks like.
Hope SA can get a cheap player back for Boris (doubt it, but possible) but man, SA has some holes to fill now even though the SL looks damn solid.
Indeed. Three years, not including options.
Correct, I was wrong on S&T possibility - I forgot about the 3 year rule.
Why would Manu go anywhere else after spending his entire career in SA? Seems like nonsense.
Like Bonner?
I've just gotta walk away from this and come back to see what's left when they're done. I was really hopeful that they would sign someone like Bourousis, and be able to afford the all the guys we've been seeing in the pipeline, and just be done with it. Now we're looking at surgery. The FO has always been good at what they do, so maybe they'll pull a rabbit out of the hat. But I hate to lose Boban before getting to see if he can step up the rest of his game to go along with his size. Boris has a $500K incentive to stay in shape, and I still don't have any confidence that he'll lay off the croissants, so I shouldn't mine losing him.

I don't care about losing Manu. The room exception is there if he wants it. If he doesn't, tough .
